The Facebook Guide to Small Business Marketing 1st Edition

Well written book that shows some metrics. What I would like to see is some A\B testing with and without social media to see how it affects the number of visits to a web site or the bottom line sales. Who cares about likes - likes and popularity does not pay the bills. Never the less I will recomment this book to my clients who want to use facebook as part of their web strategy. Most of the small businesses I surveyed don't know if facebook is increasing their business. The author shows some examples for running his own or his wife's business and that is helpful - but I am not convinced facebook is of value for my Multimedia web design business.

I bought this book to help launch my new website jbcampo.com. so far, it seems pretty straightforward and helpful. He explains the purpose of doing his recommendations, so you can easily choose to implement or not as you go along. I did not realize FB had this power. He makes it clear that you should use FB as a customer monitoring site to gather and respond to feedback, while your website should be where you keep the meat of your material.This book has been helpful, and I think it will help you too if you are a beginner to using FB as a marketing tool for your small business. This is it to get you started on your way to creating a professional approach to Social Media marketing. Really a "how to" to get you started to create a neat Facebook business page. It is all there with a very simple and detailed explanation to get you started. I am very happy I bought this book.

Sorry, I did not find the book useful. Many things that are written in the book can be found on Facebook help forums and and online information. You can use Facebook for business from practice. Just start a business page, you will learn by administrating you Facebook page. I only read a few pages and shelved the book. I do not know who will take it for free.

I love this book. It is filled with so many tips and maximizing the use of Facebook for your small business. I love it. I am incorporating some of this awesome tips.
