Good parlor guitar
It checked off all my boxes. Parlor size, slotted headstock, 12th fret neck joint. Exactly what I was looking for. Included gig bag is a nice touch. Mine needs fret work, -1 star.

Awesome Small Body / Parlor Guitar
Love this guitar. Sounds great - awesome for fingerstyle playing and strumming (recommend to use Medium or lighter pick). Very comfortable to hold and mine was setup well. Hard to find anything else in this price range that has the cedar top + bone nut + saddle as well. I highly recommend. Superior sound to the parlor size Gretsch Jim Dandy, in my opinion. The vintage styling is unique and well done. Also, its 12 frets to the body, which is what I was looking for!

Erstaunlich
Bin sehr zufrieden.

Remarkable tone and value
The Kala Company is known best for its ukuleles but this parlour sized guitar is one of the few guitars it makes, and for the money I think rivals the tone and projection of instruments 2+ it’s price. No bells and whistles but very nice tone woods with a solid cedar top and mahogany laminate back, sides, and neck and light satin finish. With light weight silk and steel strings it is a pleasure to play and it accentuates the highs without any “ringing” as would be expected for good parlour guitars. It is ten frets to the body—not fourteen, but I find that somehow also lends itself to easier playability. My only reservation was that the frets weren’t finished quite enough for a new guitar and I needed to “dress” the frets to make the neck and fingerboard smoothly work for me. Otherwise a great instrument I would be glad to take on the stage for performance.
