This cup really freezes well and make a slush drink that STAYS slushy for the longest time!Though I forgot to try this, I'm gonna see if, after making the first slush drink, if I pour that into a different glass, maybe the cup can make a second slush. We'll see!When I first opened the cup, it had a strong odor of plastic, BUT after washing it, that odor never transferred to the beverages. Just so you know.

Oh yes, we love love love this product. I bought it for my granddaughters and ended up ordering one for me. It’s like it’s magical. You get a slushy quick and fast highly recommend.

Update: the seller reached out to me after my review and has been very helpful. I really wanted to love this cup but it has some design flaws. The seller took note of my concerns and apologized for it not being what I wanted. I would consider buying from this seller again.I have this cup as well as the Zoku slush maker. I wanted to try this one because the Zoku one takes several minutes. I was very impressed with how quickly this one turns liquids to slush! It starts working almost immediately and is super easy to use. However, it is really hard to clean and has lots of little nooks and crevices. Recently, I stopped using it because it started to smell really bad. I’m not sure if it’s because there’s gunk built up somewhere or if it got a hole somewhere. Regardless, it’s very disappointing. I will stick to the Zoku version. It may take longer but it’s super easy to clean and I haven’t had any issues with it!

This has a weird plastic smell. Like a blow up inflatable pool toy or something. You can't put this thing in the dishwasher. Only hand washing, and no amount of washing so far has made the smell go away. You can faintly TASTE plastic too, which doesn't help. It does work, I will say that. It does make a slushie pretty quickly....as long as you can get past that plastic smell and taste.

I recently purchased this slushy cup maker with high hopes, but while it does its job, it’s not without its downsides. The process of making slushies is fun and fairly easy—just freeze, pour and squeeze. However, I was disappointed by the capacity of the cup. It doesn’t hold as much liquid as I was expecting, which means smaller servings than I’d hoped for.The product works well and creates a good texture, but the size issue definitely limits its appeal. If you’re okay with smaller servings, it’s a fun gadget to have around. Just be aware of the size limitation!

I try to avoid making purchases strictly based on what my 11-year-old sees on TikTok because often times it’s just a letdown. This little cup might be the exception. I was super skeptical and actually said “No way” the first four times she asked for it, but I finally broke down/ gave in and bought her one, but told her not to be disappointed if it didn’t work the way that the Internet said it would.It came with a little instruction booklet, which was super helpful… Tossed it in the freezer and kind of hoped for the best and I will admit the first time we used it. It was a little bit of a letdown, it worked but not well… I flipped back through the instruction, booklet and did a little bit of my own tik tok “research” and came to the conclusion the soda (she wanted a coke slushie) probably needed to be cold vs room temp. We put a couple of sodas in the fridge, put the cup back in the freezer and try it again, and it worked perfectly. It worked so perfectly. In fact, I bought a second one so that one could always be in the freezer ready to go.It’s been a fun little novelty thing for her to have and even as it’s starting to get cold where we live it doesn’t seem to have lost its fun factor and she continues to use it almost every day with juice and even just regular water.I would definitely recommend it, my husband and I enjoy it too. The only thing I would definitely suggest is that you make sure whatever you’re pouring into it is cold. It will slush a room temperature drink it just doesn’t do it that well or that quickly

My dad was getting so sick due to the cancer treatments. But he could still hold down a slushie, so I made the purchase, he was able to eat one everyday.
