A high price - but worth it.

My wife is a chocolate snob. She grew up in the vicinity of Hershey Pennsylvania in the heart of Chocolate country. She loves dark chocolate, and these are her absolute favorite. She says there is no better chocolate anywhere, and she’s tried them all!

I was turned on to Neuhaus chocolate by a friend who is very health conscious but is willing to break her own strict rules to partake of these chocolates. This is the third or fourth box I've bought. I order from Amazon instead of the Neuhaus website to take advantage of free Prime shipping. Not inexpensive but sometimes you just have to spoil yourself.

Always love neuhaus but the care in the delivery just made my day. Two ice packs included so chocolate was perfect on arrival. Taste and texture were perfect AND no blooms. Just delicious

I have purchased this chocolate twice in the past and found it to be extremely high quality and very much worth the price. I bought it as a gift this time and was severely disappointed by what we received. The chocolates appear to have been stored inadequately since the exteriors were discolored and textured. While we were not immediately put off by the blooming of their surfaces, the chocolates themselves have lost most of their flavor and boldness. When I previously had these chocolates, I would have one at a time since the flavors were very rich and each piece would melt in your mouth and be velvety smooth. These chocolates are instead chalky and only hint at the idea of a rich dark chocolate. With how much money I had to pay for these chocolates and the fact that I am unable to ask for customer service, a replacement, or a refund, I cannot recommend buying this product. I think it is unreasonable to spend almost $70 to take a chance on receiving (quite frankly) horrible chocolate. If the seller is willing to compensate or help customers with quality control for the item(s) that they receive, then I would be willing to try buying this product again and recommend it, but at this time I cannot do so.
