A water soluble fiber
Our doctor suggested we add a water soluble fiber for a healthy biome. I like this brand. I use it in my morning coffee and it dissolves easily with no taste.

good supplement
I have long had troubles with my stomach being very sensitive, and I've also struggled with diarrhea and constipation over the years. I got most of that under better control with dietary changes, thankfully, but now I have to take a medication that causes constipation as a side effect. I tried other fiber supplements, but I always experienced stomach discomfort no matter how little I took. I also hated how some of them were gritty, and/or had ingredients other than just the fiber. I had never heard of Acacia fiber before, but decided it was worth a try based on what I read about it. I started with about 1/2 scoop a day, and was quickly able to get up to 2 scoops (about 2 teaspoons) a day with no stomach discomfort. As far as the taste, if I blend it in with my morning smoothie, I can't taste it at all. If I take it with just water, though, it tastes like products used to give a smoky taste to meats. There is no aftertaste, thankfully, so it isn't difficult to take that way. Thankfully, there is also no grit to it. If you follow the directions on the package of how to mix it, you will get the best results. I am also glad it is organic and non-gmo. Overall, I am very pleased and plan to purchase it again when I run-out.

Sand-colored powder instead of white, mixes well
I used to suffer from IBS-D symptoms that took over my life until menopause. I loved Heather's Tummy fiber (organic Acacia Senegal powder) but it was out of stock often in the last few years. I still recommend that one, even though it is pricey, but started using Anthony's organic Acacia Senegal fiber when Heather's wasn't available. That fiber is fairly similar with a lower price point, but last month, Anthony's fiber was out of stock. I had to find a substitute so I decided to try this Acacia Senegal fiber in the same price point. I was not ready for how big the bag is -- wow! I decanted this into an OXO pop-top container and I still have so much more left. It comes with a cute little scooper, too. It is a sand-colored powder that mixes completely in my oatmeal and doesn't change the taste at all. I so far really like it for helping with GI issues. I also like how much longer the product lasts.

The Bottom Line - Solid!
Acacia powder comes in two varieties, pure white and very fine, or tan and slightly grainier. This brand from Micro Ingredients is the tan grainier variety. I use about half the amount of this powder than the white variety sold by other companies. Both varieties work, but you need to adjust the amounts with either one to get your desired outcome. You can count on this Micro Ingredients powder to deliver solid results, whether you are trying to balance a tendency towards either IBS D or C. Establishing colonic stability is not just about taking some powder, but a much more thorough understanding of which foods affect the GI tract. If you want further info you can do a search for help with IBS, and there is lots of good info available. Also, it is important to understand what the Gastro Colic reflex is about if you have ever had a major reaction after consuming something with a kind of oil that you cannot tolerate. Basically, the stomach senses an intolerable type of oil and clears a wide pathway within an hour or two, even though the oil is nowhere near getting to the colonic regions. The powder will help, but please do your research as each person is different. Good Luck!

Don't use for IBS. Get other brands.
This product is very different from the Heather's brand or Anthony's brand acacia fiber that i have used for years to alleviate IBS. This two worked. This one just didn't. It is a different color and dissolved much better than those other two, but my IBS came back in a way I haven't dealt with in years. Supposedly they contain the same ingredients in the same amounts, but they simply don't. If you're getting this for gastric symptoms, just don't. Get Anthony's or Heather's Tummy Care instead.

Great fiber
Very impressed, found this recommendation from a doctor on YouTube, I'm not sure of science behind this product. But I'm 100% sure of imitate results ! The 1st couple of days, be close to a rest room lol. After that I'm tolerating it better. Very inexpensive, very small scoop included in a 2 pound bag of Very fine powder. Zero taste or texture noticed, can be added to any food or drink without notice in taste or appearance. But definitely gets results !

Dilutes better and is affordable.
I have ordered several times and this is the best I've found. It stirs into the water better than other I have used. And the price per ounce is good.

Best Acacia of many I tried.
I tried many brands of Acacia before landing on this one, the best of them all. The others I tried were all bleached and had been through some sort of process that aerated them, making them light and fluffy. This meant that the product didn't last as long...I blew through the containers much faster. Also, they floated and stuck to my spoon when I tried to mix them into water. This product is unbleached, denser, and lasted longer. In addition, if I poured hot water over it and stirred it right away, it was much more easily integrated into the water. And in addition to all that, it was one of the only ones I found that was organic, and it was less expensive than the others. Great product!
