Okay, so for an everyday consumer that has quite a few mics, this one requires practically no post work. Better than my compressor mic hooked up through an interface and all that. I've been using it through the DJI Mic 2 on my Sony Cameras. I can't believe I waited so long to get a quality lav mic...

I’ve already lost the head covering and the lapel pin for the two mics I bought. I bought 2 mics on 9/10 and only did one shoot with them. They really didn’t think the design through and all I wanted was a good mic with a lapel clip that would hold and not get lost so easy. Now I was to tape this mic to the client because the engineering producers failed to make this mic sturdy and durable. Thanks for nothing Rode!

This Mic sounds great for the price, and has low noise when used with DJI Mic transmitters. It has a front-facing capsule, so it may take a little creativity when mounting it under clothing, etc., but it is worth the hassle of that minor quibble.

Nice mic. Cord is very short. Clip doesn’t feel like it’ll last but it does sound good.

I was very skeptical about buying this leveler microphone, but in a quiet setting, the Lavalier picks up sound quality so well in a couple weeks I’ll come back and do a review about the Lavalier and a louder environment because I’m heading to an event to do an interview in a very loud, crowded location.
