Great book for the absolute beginner
Great book for the absolute beginner. If you're not sure what a raster file is, start here. The Classroom in a Book series is good but it expects a certain level of understanding that I did not have. This was perfect for me. I would recommend checking these tutorial books out at the library if you need to gauge your understanding.My copy didn't come with a CD but you can go to the book website to download the project files.

The books is too simplistic. Nothing you can't find on the illustrator help files. There are plenty of other better books.
