Received a good product. Well packed. Threaded inserts are always better than directly directly driving screws in wood. The biggest advantage is that the screws can be removed and re-inserted in these threaded inserts without the fear of stripping the screw hole which happens regularly when used directly on wood.

This is very useful in woodworking projects.. excellent build quality of the D-nut, this is my 3rd order from same item from same seller... wonderful experience

Worth to buy

Very helpful if using in wooden fixtures and need to take apart some day for maybe repairs or upgrade etcbut not very durable made from very thin sheet easily bendable the D-nut rendering it non useable, could have been made thicker as to have some error margin (like over screwing etc) when screwing in wood.Keep in mind if you over screw you will break the D nut and wont be able to pull it out of wood.Other than that there is no compatible screw listed I have to go to shop to shop to search for the right screw that fits.

Drill with a 6mm bit a 10mm hole into the wood to secure the d nut.

Treads into soft material and holds tight

I ordered these in M6 size. Tried three of them from a package of 25. All three failed during installation. Very very poor quality. Very flimsy. Not acceptable. Has resulted in complete waste of time and labour charges. The pics show the damage to the outside wall of this product which is supposed to lock inside the wood. Very very bad experience. Giving one star since there is no option to give zero.
