It is just a little bit "sticky" feeling which helps to keep it in your hands all while still being smooth to the touch so nothing actually sticks to it. It fits my phone (Galaxy s4) snug and all the cut outs are in the right spots. It is a bit bulkier than I expected but I have dropped it a few times and my phone is fine. One of the drops was pretty bad onto concrete and the case only has a tiny scuff on a corner. Not bad! The only other thing is that the case (at least the pink one) has barely noticeable sparkles throughout. This bothered me when I first got it as I am not a 14 year old, but, you can really only tell when you hold the phone close to your face and turn it in the light so it is turning out not to be a real issue. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful Color, and doing a good job so far. *by T***R on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on June 19, 2014* I've had this case for a couple of weeks so far, and dropped my phone a handful of times. The phone is still going strong, and the case looks really good-which is nice. This is grippy enough to hang onto, but smooth enough to slide it into a pocket, or small purse without it catching on the edges and not wanting to go where it should.It's very thin, and not bulky, so I worry about it not being protective enough, but so far I haven't had any problems!Update on 8/21/14-This case started fading quite quickly!! I also found that it was getting less "grippy" as time went on. I was having a hard time hanging onto it one handed (texting).
