Fame and Glory in Freedom, Georgia

I read Wish first and loved it. Now I read every book by this author that I can get my hands on. I read them with my grandkids, and it’s a wonderful experience each time.

Bought this as a gift for my niece, she is collecting the entire series and it was very important for all the cover art to be the same style. Bought this version purposefully because it had the correct cover art listed but received the version in the attached picture. Need to scour bookstores to correct this - not helpful!

My students loved this book. It's a great story of friendship, acceptance, and being true to yourself.

We love Barbara O'Conner. This was our 2nd book by her (we have read 3 now), and Wish and How to steal a dog were better suited for my kids aged 5-7. This one in particular just didn't keep my guys interest.

My 5th grader really enjoyed this story. Teaches hard work and compassion.
