I hesitated to buy this product initially due to the mixed reviews, but went for it in the end as I was interested in it's properties and performance of filtering PFOS/PFAS. We've used this carafe for 9 months now, and it's still in great condition. The glass is thick and good quality. The plastic components and silicone gaskets are easy to clean. The water tastes amazing. I can tell the difference when compared to my Brita filter, let alone to unfiltered tap water. The flow of water is a bit slow sometimes, but it's a small inconvenience when filtering water at this level of purity. It's a shame the replacement filters are not sold on Amazon. I ended up purchasing them directly from the manufacturer's website in the end.

Really disappointed in this, as started out loving it for its elegant design and way of filtering as you pour. But now, a few months in (and apparently after I am able to return it), it does not pour properly at all. Water either does not come out or it spills everywhere as the rubber leaks. Super disappointing, sadly. Advise against buying!!

Bought the pitcher pro and have to say I’m delighted. After doing a lot research and considerable amount of reading on the dangers of microplastics especially in drinking water, this product was unique and came out tops. E.g. your drinking water is not left lying in plastic but is in pure glass and this makes an incredible difference to the taste, this should be a must have for anyone who cares about their health and cares what goes into their body. The difference in the taste of the drinking quality of the water coming out of a glass bottle and not a plastic one is incredible. I know because I have tried many plastic brands but I would never go back to them now.Also, I love the fact the filters only need changed every 3 months and not every month like a lot of other brands.Lastly worth noting is a lovely lady called Ginanina got back to me to answer some queries I had regarding things and she got back to me incredibly quickly including a personal call back, this was incredibly helpful.A lot of companies could learn a lot from tappwater when it comes to customer service as theirs is excellent, which is so nice these days as in general a lot other companies seem to suffer in this departmentWell done tappwater you have me as a customer for life nowAlan Perry

After doing quite a bit of research online I decided to buy this water filter: Primarily because it was supposed to taste the best, but it also has a much nicer design than those plastic jugs.The water does taste good, the design looks great and feels good quality.My main issue is that the pouring is really erratic and not satisfying at all. sometimes it's a full stream and at other times it just drips out or comes out in a trickle if you're lucky.If it's full then the poring is ok.. but towards the end of the jug it just doesn't have the pressure to push through the filter and I just end up refilling it. This is a major design flaw.*the glass is brittle - I knocked the bottom of it on my toaster and it shattered. :-/

Great water filter carafe. Taste was rated the best by The Telegraph UK; and I agree, the taste is great. The Tappwater website has a full independent report on everything that is filtered out of the water. Glass is SO much better than plastic. This carafe works well in a household of 1 to 2 people. You will have to be careful, as the glass, while not “thin”, is not “thick” either.

I am very careful with the jug and have lots of normal water jugs in glass which I don’t break and yet I have just come on to order my third of these in a few months. The bottom edge breaks so easily, a light bump on the side of a sink or something and crumples. I love that it is made of glass but a stronger/thicker one perhaps? Or at the bottom at least (other reviews seem to have a similar problem) .On the other hand it filters beautifully. The water flow can get stuck occasionally and it is slow to pour (and sometimes smooth and fast!) but it is a neat easy system and the difference in water taste (ours is hard and chlorine taste) is absolutely amazing. Water tastes absolutely delicious. When we drink without it (the times we are waiting for new jugs to replace our broken ones!) the chlorine taste is so strong.So a brilliant filter and it looks nice too but very fragile!*Edit. Now about to order my fourth, this time it broke at the top. Extremely fragile but I can’t find a better filter in glass out there. Please be aware though, and if you’re happy to drink from plastic don’t buy this!

I ordered it as it is glass, but it’s not easy to operate.Straw is ver thin, and you have to hold jug upside down which is very difficult for me as I have arthritis. I thought I will get used to, but still finding it very hard. Otherwise I like the look and shape and size a lot.

Having looked for a long time to find a water filtration bottle that isn’t too big, actually works and usable, pitcher pro is a perfect match. This product has met expectation and more.The unexpected bonus was the taste of the water. Taste has never bothered me before but after the first drink I couldn’t believe how much I loved the taste and it’s upped my water intake as a result. The bottle is so easy to set up and looks good. The pour of the bottle does take getting used to as it’s fairly slow to allow the filter to work and just slightly slower than comparable but worth it if the filter works!Finally it’s also become really useful next to my desk to ensure I’ve drunk enough and find the size brilliant to manage your personal intake.Highly recommend and my best purchase of 2023 so far.
