Beautiful, durable, just perfect
The dishes are nice and lightweight compared to my heavy old stoneware. The lemon pattern is nicely done , not like the stickers or appliquĆ©s used by Corelle. Very durable - no chipping. The dinner plates are larger than average - make sure they will fit in your dishwasher. The bowls are just right for salad or soup. I doubt Iāll use the coffee mugs, however. I prefer mugs that are larger and thicker to keep my coffee hot.

Bright, cheerful and well-made.
Such a cheerful, lemony pattern. The graphics are crisp, but not harshly so. They hold up well when used and appear to be chip resistant. I love the quality of Mikasa every day china. I highly recommend these Mikasa lemon dishes.

Really Nice!
We've only had these plates for a few days and, so far, we've ony used them for cheese enchiladas but, so far, we love them. The first night I didn''t mention them, because I wanted to see if my husband noticed, but as soon as I laid them on the kitchen counter, he picked one up, turned it over and said "Wow, dishwasher and microwave safe. These are really nice! Where did you get them?" I replied, "Amazon, of course". I was really surprised that he noticed, let alone, admired them. But, he was right. They re really nice.

So Beautiful in Person!
I bought a set of these, then ordered another set because I loved them so much. I wasn't sure about how bright the yellow was, but they are absolutely beautiful in person and a softer color than they appeared on my screen. They are light and delicate looking, but sturdy, as expected from Mikasa. I just adore them!

Nicely done worth the extra cash
I recently purchased a papart set and within a month over half the dishes chipped. So I gave them away and bought these and.let me tell you so with the extra 30 dollars beutiful and no chipping. Can't go wrong with these

Beautiful set - One mug was broken however
I just received the set and one of the mugs in the set was broken. The packaging on the mugs was terrible. They were all stacked together with no padding between. I am acutally shocked they weren't all broken. But otherwise a beautiful set !!

Cheerful and great quality
I bought two sets for everyday use. They are bone china, light and durable, and the design is lovely and cheerful. I compare them with my other set of Mikasa Tivoli Gardens, and they are the same quality, could be used interspaced if you plan to have a spring / summer dinner. The design is under the glazing, and the contours of the design are slighly indented with a bit of 3-dimensionality, just like Tivoli Gardens. I pair them with Mikasa's Lilah flatware, but they go well with any flatware, silver or gold. The plates in this collection are slightly larger than average, and the bowls are quite generous in size. The mugs are the same shape as Tivoli Gardens'. Great quality dishes.

We're lovin' them!
This Mikasa dinner set is wonderful! I was looking for something rather lightweight and something bright and fun. This set has worked its magic to a T. The sizes of all the pieces are on the generous side but not so large that they feel or look awkward. I even like the shape of both the bowls and the mugs. I suppose that I, the cook of the family, should have felt insulted when my husband said he thought this new, lusciiously lemony set even made the food taste better, but I think it does, too. I don't see how anyone could be disappointed in either the price or the quality.Bon appetit!
