After traveling to Thailand several years ago my husband was very interested in Jim Thompson. He was thrilled when I surprised him with a rare copy of the book.

Regretted not buying this whilst at the Jim Thompson house in Bangkok. Now very pleased to have bought a used copy in very good condition on my return home. A lovely souvenir of our holiday which brings together my love of textiles and appreciation of beautiful books. The book tells the story of Jim Thompson's life, the production and weaving of silk and how Jim Thompson helped the Thai weavers to promote their products and sell them all over the world.
