My Favorite Boots
This is my second pair of Muck Boots, same style. My last pair lasted 4 years. I put them on one day and one seemed very slippery on the bottom, so I looked at it. It was all cracked. Being afraid to fall and break my neck, I decided it was time for a new pair! I started looking online. I looked everywhere, including the Muck website. I fell in love with the burgundy tops (my original ones were just all black) but they were pretty pricey on the Muck website. Of course I found them here cheaper. When I first got them I thought oh god they’re too tight, but now that I’ve worn them, they’re perfect. If you have even a slightly larger than average calf, I would suggest trying these on in person to make sure they fit you the way you want. The boots these replaced were a women’s 9, so that’s what I ordered. They are definitely true to size. If you think you’ll wear heavier socks more often than not, you may want to size up. I’ve worn thick socks with mine as they are, and I’m comfortable in them.My one and only complaint is they are difficult to drive in, as they are heavy. If you have trouble with heavy shoes/footwear, these may not be the best option for you. I live in a very cold climate, with harsh winters, lots of snow/ice. I’m happy to have heavier boots due to where I live (Adirondack Mountains of New York State). They are incredibly warm and comfortable. Also, the tread is awesome- much better design than my old ones. I feel very safe walking in them, even in snow/ice. The sidewalks where I live aren’t always plowed when I walk my dog early in the morning. She’s a puller, so having boots with a solid tread is an absolute must so that I am stable. I didn’t realize how worn the bottoms of my old ones were until I got the new ones! These rock.Great seller too- boots were shipped and delivered quickly (they arrived sooner than I was expecting). They came beautifully wrapped, in the original box. If you’re hesitant, don’t be!

True to Size, Warm and Comfortable
I wear a 6.5 and these fit great with a thick pair of socks in them. The first day I wore them I went on a 2 mile hike. (Oops) my feet didn’t get sore at all. Out standing around they kept my feet warm also. I would definitely recommend these. Only down side is I’m short 5’ and they go right up to my knees.

great snow boots
I usually wear 9.5 narrow, but didn't have half sizes so bought a size 9 and it fits well. I wear this out and about in Anchorage AK walking with the dog. Had it down in the the 5 degree range and my feet haven't been cold. Good traction in the snow and ice. No studs on the bottom so if I get on hard water ice will need to get some cleats. Highly recommend these cute boots for cold weather.

Is comfortable
I felt secure in them. I haven’t slipped in snow or ice. Snow doesn’t get in the top of boots or anywhere else and very warm. It has taken a couple of times to wear to get use to. Great quality.

Wow what a boot!!
Super warm ! super comfy! Waterproof for sure! My toes froze in every other boot I had. Not these. Calf area snug and taking them off is a little difficult but I would not trade them for anything else!

Dry and warm
I have waded in Lake Superior waters in November with these and not only are my feet dry and warm, but I feel as stable as possible on the slippery rocks. Recommended for sure.

JUNK!!
Unless you plan on only wear these 4 times in a year, don’t waste your money I ordered these October 25, i put them in my closet until needed, I didn’t actually start wearing them until March 3rd. The backs started leaking yesterday (july 21st). They lasted 4 months; the ones I had previously lasted me 11 years! I didn’t wear these ones everyday, maybe 2 times a week at most. I messaged the seller trying to resolve prior to writing this review but they refused to replace or refund. Says it’s due from wear and tear. Would highly recommend somewhere else that has a warranty or better customer service

Tight around calves
Super tight around my calves, although the boots themselves fit great and seem warm/comfortable. If you have thicker calves like me, I reccomend getting a different, shorter boot or one with the adjustable back.

Very comfortable and supportive
I’ve only had these boots a couple of days so can’t comment on durability but up to now, I’m hugely impressed. Excellent quality and fit (I’m a 7 - 7.5 and bought a 7 which are perfect). The grip is fantastic and they feel so snug and warm. I’ll wear them everyday to walk the dogs in. Actually excited to try them out in the snow!

Best wellies I've ever had.
I've waited a while to review these, as I wanted it to be accurate. As you can see, I use mine alot.Sizing - true to size, with room for thick socks.Width - best for small to medium sized calves.Weight - fairly heavy, but you do get used to it.Comfort - arh geez, I could stand on a cheese grator and not feel it with these on.The sole padding is very thick, meaning you actually gain height when wearing them !! But you can walk over rocks or anything with these on and the foot won't feel a thing.Very warm. They do have an element of flexibility. This week I went trekking in mine and climbed a mountain in the Peak District. This is possible due to their grip, I didnt slide once. You can clean them easily, just pop them in the sink with some washing up liquid, a good scrub and they come up good as new, even the material part.I understand these are expensive compared to the others on the market, but trust me, once you've tried these you won't want any other wellies !!Brilliant for all types of walking, especially dog walking, muddy or rocky environments.Worth every penny. When they're in stock, buy them, you won't regret it.

I'm not a woman
I have narrow feet and slimmer calves so getting wellies that don't flay you alive as they flap around is a joy. The neutral tones of these black and grey items lead to a unisex look that won't hoist eyebrows at the manly man's club. Very comfortable for even longer walks and the nine fitted true to size for my narrow foot with the Vibram sole being much more like a hiking boot than a welly . They do feel a tadge on the warm side when the temperature rises but what would you expect from a boot called 'Arctic Ice'. I do find a boot remover comes in handy as the figure hugging nature lends quite a secure fit and I'm no longer flexible enough to enjoy contorting myself to drag the boots off by hand..
