The combination has worked well, according to the blood tests, for his liver function. By ordering from Amazon, I can avoid both the 20-minute drive to the vet's office to pick up the medication, and save about 40% in the process. I will note that this medication is supposed to be taken at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after eating. And our dog does not like to just swallow these pills. Our solution is that we take one of these and stuff it into a Bil-Jac Liver Treats - 10 oz treat right before bed every day, and leave it in an easily-accessible spot in our bedroom. Then, during the middle-of-the-night call of nature, we give our dog the tasty morsel which he downs immediately - and falls immediately back to sleep.
