There's some reviews saying that they're only good for one hole - Well I've used one for two holes (I mucked up the first one, my fault) in ceramic tiles, and I reckon it would go again. Recommend making a jig/guide with a bit of timber with a hole in it the same size as the hole saw, to help guide it in. These are DIY grade tools, which is fine for the price - I bought the whole set for much less than one of the saws would have cost from Bunnings, and I do only need them to work a couple of times; I'm only renovating one bathroom. Realise that you do get what you pay for, but if you only need to make a few holes, then these are the go! What type of pilot do you need for glass?** A: If you make a hole the aize you are trying to make in a small plank of wood first, tou can then clamp the wood plank to the glass or ceramic you intend to cut a hole into and the wood plank will act as a guide/stabiliser. This is how I have always made precise, no wobble cuts when challenged with using a hole saw without a pilot bit in the center. Although, I do have many piloted wood hole saws that I can use to create the guide plank, so that helps. Hopefully this makes sense amd you understand the method I have explained. **Q: Is there an available guide for this tool?** A: Not that I know of, I found cutting thru brick I had to take it slow. I just tipped the cutting tool slightly till I had started a slight half circle then was able to hold to start the full circle. I was very surprised that it did a nice job cutting thru the brick half at a time **Q: How long do they last? Or how often can you use them** A: I bought the set for two particular diameters that I needed. I have used those to drill holes several times and they worked well. They are ideal for someone like me who needs to make several holes in tiles while renovating a bathroom.
