I use this Powered Air Filter with a full-face respirator mask and it works great. The hose fittings are the industry standard. The total cost with a full-face mask is VERY inexpensive compared to buying the mask and powered filter combination together from one seller. The high airflow is several times more than you need even when breathing rapidly when working hard. The excess airflow keeps unfiltered air from entering the mask. The generous airflow keeps your face cool. The high airflow is very reassuring when working because you feel the clean air blowing into the mask. The unit comes with 2 filter canisters installed and that must be the trick for both great filtration with high airflow. The on/off switch is flush mounted in the case so it would be difficult to switch it off with a bump. The feed tube from the filter to the mask is included, and it's in two sections and can be used individually or joined together as one long feed tube. I purchased this item 12 months ago, January 2023. I have used it for 35 hours in an enclosed area while digging in very fine dust.

Easy to use and uses 40 mm filters!! Belt could be a bit more user friendly. Blows air at a constant speed and does not slow down under load. However, it stops with sudden movement. I use it for cleaning but any sudden movement turns off the blower.

As a machinit's it's fantastic

I ordered two assuming one would be broken. One worked perfectly as advertised. The others battery failed, dead. My original plan was to just walk around with a generator and an extension cord and run it off 120v power. Instead I diagnosed the root problem and I disected the battery and found the charging board was bad. So I remade a new battery from the x6 cells x3 series double parallel 12v system to once again work into a 55* 2.5mm 3ft jack. Now it works as advertised with with independent battery replacements for future backup battery builds i will now make with the spare parts. For the price they should have spent the money on a proper Circuit Card Assembly in the battery. It's fine, make it work and do better like I do.

I like the volume of air it puts out. I would have given it a 5 but I had to take it apart and fix a short on the fan. I modified a full face mask to use it on.

This PAPR is a great alternative to the expensive 3M ones and pairs nicely with a regular 3M full face mask.

Used this to build a supplied air mask system. Working great

It works well and there is absolutely no smell from air input. But it's pretty bulky hanging off your back. And you have to make sure you have the filters very tight as they fell off twice during painting. It seems that shifting around on your back as you move caused them to work loose.
