It is designed to be easy to install. The CL200 is the same basic unit except that the ports on the bottom are threaded so that you can use threaded fittings to add it to your system. This requires a lot more knowledge about fittings, connectors and plumbing. **Q: Why does the top become hard to twist open?** A: I have never had a problem with mine , but i only tighten it till it clicks . i have never had any leeks either . when I purchased mine I bought extra o rings and the opener tool but haven't had to use them yet . **Q: I can i stall this on a well system to purify water before entering the house?** A: I wouldn’t try to purify the water with chlorine. That does not sound safe for consumption. You should check with a local company that purifies water.
