I bought this phone with exchange on 8 Feb,2022 for 35k (8gb+256gb) and i am reviewing it on 16 April,2022. So i have a descent amount of usage.I bought this phone mainly for media consumption because of the 10 bit display (i am a Heavy media consumer) and i have not been disappointed, beautiful display and vivid colours.(4.5/5) for display.After display one thing that surprised me most is the music experience. Trust me bro hands down the best music experience i ever had. The in ear music experience is something else. While the speakers are mind blowing.If you own this phone I want you to do this, hold your phone completely horizontal with screen facing you and hold it close to your face at eye level. Once you do this find your favourite song and play it on full volume, switch the screen off and let the magic happen. That's Harman/kardon designed speakers for you my friend.For those who don't own this device let me tell you what happens, while the music is playing close to you it feels like the singer is sitting in the room and the clearity in his/her voice will kill you (metaphorically), pure bliss my friend. (5/5) for music; Only section to score full pointsComing to camera, well it's a fairly average camera for photos and pictures (and if you apply multiple filters and other things at the same time it will literally die😂😂), you will still get amazing pictures in natural and fully lit environment. (2.5/5) for pictures.Now when it comes to video recording it is totally different ball game, Man the video recorded are so good that i think it's one of the best if not the best in this price segment. Multiple options for recording. (Solid 4/5) for video recording.Now coming to battery life, this is the section where I have seen most of you complain and lemme tell you that you people have fallen into a trap of Hypercharge😂😂. Those of you who have used the 120w charger have destroyed their phone's battery life forever. The phone charges pretty fast but also drains pretty fast. So to tackle this issue I did not use the 120w charger not even once. As you can see in one of the pics, I use 15w charger of my note 5 pro for charging 😂😂 this phone and it charges my phone in 90 mins. Result: Solid one and a half day of battery life. That is why I said if you use correctly in title. (4/5)for battery if used correctly.Coming to ui, it still has some bugs but still manageable.(2.5/5) for the UI.One more thing, when i bought this phone my friend simultaneously bought iPhone 12. I compared every aspect of this phone to iPhone 12 and this phone beats the iPhone 12 in antutu score, geekbench. This phone is superior to iPhone 12 in every aspect except the camera section. He bought the iPhone 12 for 58k with exchange😂😂. No need to say sad boi. Paid 20k extra for brand value and camera.This phone even has 3 years of security updates, that's a plus.Overall (4/5) for this phone. Don't fall for 120w charger, it is just a Marketing gimmick and will kill your battery life.

Tested this phone on all expects using this phone for a month now and here is a short review on this. ( wont take much time )Let me summarise the best things about the phone (1) The screen it's the best.(2) Would be the speakers and the customisations you get while using the headphones.(3) The camera - It's very good for daylight photos and also does decent at night but the best thing I like is the video quality its damn good even the front camera is worthy.(4) Performance I majorly bought this phone because off its Snapdragon 888 processor and i dont regret.(5) Battery- The charging time of the phone is extremely low because of it's fast charger but sometimes I feel the battery drains quite fast (sometimes)The only problem I faced so far is that it heats up sometimes. I understand while gaming but also it turns slightly warmer during some tasks or while using camera for a long time.Although it does good job on performance but as I said it heats up slightly quickly.Rest all i would consider it a bang on product.I exchanged it with other phone where I got a discount of 14000/-So I got a good deal. 👍Updated review 1-The phone keeps on heating on normal usages.Games such as pubg shut downs automatically after a while.And camera video faces problem like frame freeze on regular basics on 1080p and 4k with heating sidebyside near camera zone.This has been a lot after a recent phone update.Updated review 2-The heating issue with this phone has become worse after few updates.The phone with heat up while normal multitasking or just while watching YouTube.Heating is the only prob facing currently.This is the first phone i came across which heats up on just scrolling Instagram 🤣

Mobile works great...It's fast, smooth, the blue colour looks stunning.But...But...it gets hot easily and stays around 35 to 40 °C with normal use.(Chennai)Personally I don't mind heating if it's below 40 BUT if it crosses 41°C it caps itself to 60Hz and it sucks because with this mobile it crosses the limit easily with high brightness internet usage.It didn't heat up when I was in a hill station or inside AC room...So it's good if you are not in a hot place like Chennai Or use it outdoor under sunlight...Now review of the Phone.1. Spectacular Display- Top class almost bezeless and super bright and Punchy ( has HDR too but you'll never use it past first week 🤣)2. Bestest Best Best Speakers - I stopped using earphones often because the speakers is some of the best speakers ever. It's not always about the Loudness but the Quality is 120/100. Base Treble and surround Top class. It's loud enough to hear under the loud fan.3. Long Battery Backup- 7.5 hrs avg indoor and 5-6 hrs outdoor(Brightness).4. Fast AF Charging- 30 min max from 5% to 100%(I'm was not a fast charging fan until it actually became a normal day activity... whenever I see a phone that shows 2 hrs to charge I started appreciating this 120W charging 😂)5. Fine camera - My last phone was Redmi Note 7 pro..with Gcam it took some spectacular photos both day and night...Compared to that this is super great....It's natural the way I want the photo to look. It even got 1080p60 in front camera..6. Smooth - Ui is smooth and 120Hz is not adaptive even so good battery backup. I use theming to change the looks and it's one of the few feature I love about Mi and it's smooth too.Other than the 60Hz drop when heating😂.7. Performance - Apps almost immediately opens smoothly.I don't game in mobiles but I've tried as it's new mobile 🤣 it's great but gets hot easily. Genshin Impact on max setting was smooth and heating was manageable inside AC room....Nope in outdoors.Don't buy black colour!!!
