TidloTouch and Feel Shape Matching Wooden Bugs

I've ordered several puzzles for my year old son, and while this one has fewer pieces than several of the others I ordered, it's definitely high quality, and great for entertaining small children. My son likes to crinkle the wings on the bumblebee and feel the nice felted legs on the frog. He's also tossed around the pieces and they've held up very well. This is a big contrast to some of the puzzles I've ordered by Melissa and Doug-- those are made of cardboard, and the edges start to show major wear and tear if little ones suck on them, as the paper begins to wear away on top. I definitely would recommend this.

Well, images speak for themselves- this is next day after purchasing. Nothing other than what usually children do when they play was done to this toy and all paint started chipping and wood breaking. It's s shame because this puzzle looks lovely.

This bright wooden puzzle for young babies is lovely with pieces chunky enough and large enough to grip, whilst not being too easy that a baby would get bored after doing it a couple of times. I love the Tidlo range but I have to confess to liking the furry Jungle animal one better than this, purely for the textures, even though this isn't without. The jungle one has more definitive shapes in which to place the puzzle pieces. A lovely buy though.

A lovely, traditional, safe wooden jigsaw in bright colours and with added 'touchy feely' bits to each insect. Item is durable and will last and last, even the box is thicker than some which is an added bonus. Very happy with this purchase, as is my young son! Would buy as a present for friend's children age 1 plus, you can't go wrong!
