This product is GREAT! It actually dries your hair
This product is GREAT! It actually dries your hair. Prior to purchasing this product, my wife and I were sharing one blow dryer, and that's just not fun. Thanks to the Berta 1875 Watt I now have my very own hair dryer. I offered to let her use this one, while I would use the old one, but she loves me so much that she declined. So now I am the one who ionizes my hair. I am the one with the red hair dryer. I am the one who gets to wield this amazing product, and I feel like a total winner because of it. It even has a red laser beam that shoots out that helps you aim it, and according to the manufacturers it even helps to dry your hair. It does this by using infrared light waves or something like that. Now I saw some people complaining that their thumb hits the off button while they use it, and all I can say is WHAT! I have no such problems. I would ask my wife if she has experienced that problem, but she doesn't use it remember? It comes with one attachment that can be seen in the image. That's GREAT for when you curl your hair and things like that (or so I've heard). The con is that it's missing that HUGE circular attachment that has those strange pegs sticking out of it. I don't even know what that's for...so whatever. So to conclude: It dries your hair and it shoots red laser beams. What more can you want from a blow dryer?

On-Off Switch in Bad Location
This dryer does a great job. Both the heat and speed settings are just right. It is not too noisy. I often see complaints about the noise when someone is reviewing a hair dryer, but it is a hair dryer after all and air can't be forced thru a tube like the nozzle without some noise. The only reason this does not get five stars is the placement of switches. I accidentally turn it off several times while drying my hair. It usually happens when I am changing hands. The on-off button is right where I place my thumb when switching hands and it turns it off every time.

BROKE IN TWO MONTHS!!!
After only a little over two months of using this for around three minutes a day it doesn't work on low setting now. I was drying my hair and heard a loud pop and smelled a burning smell and it shut off. Now it won't work on low only high setting, but I'm afraid to even use it on that because it smells like something is burning. Besides I usually only used the low setting. I really liked this hairdryer till this. Now it is past the 30 days so it says I can't return it. Well it's not worth thirty dollars for a hairdryer that only works for two months. It's not like I over worked it. I let my hair mostly towel dry and finish up with the dryer for at most five minutes on low. So if you want to spend that for a disposable hairdryer for couple months use get this one. I will update my review if I ever hear back from the seller about this. Just wanted to warn everyone about my experience.

Not so hot
I've used a vidal sassoon "ionic" 1875 watt dryer for the last 7 or so years that I bought somewhere like Target. It works fine but the concentrater attachment falls off every time it is bumped, to my extreme annoyance. I decided I'd had this dryer long enough to put an end to this problem and it was time for a "big girl" dryer. After reading a million reviews on Amazon for every dryer that had ionic, tourmaline, ceramic, etc in the name, I finally settled on this one. At first glance, it seemed cool--nice color and smaller than my old clunker. But it is "cool" in more ways than one--it does not get very hot! I am torn about keeping it. I'd prefer one that emitted more heat, but I am also kind of lazy and don't want to deal with returning it. Either way, kind of a bummer.

Grew to love it
When I first got this the red light emanating from inside was driving me nuts. It's really bright and is awful to look toward. Plus, it makes a rhythmic humming sound that sounded like it was cycling funny. I figured it just wasn't the dryer for me. I decided I would most likely return the dryer in day or two. Then I began to notice that my hair felt different - smooth and healthier feeling. I figure most of advertisement is hype (I'm skeptical that way) but I have very thick hair and this really does dry my hair faster with less heat. As I appreciated how much better it worked and learned how to not look toward the red light ........ I decided I like this dryer and will definitely be keeping it.
