Although I prefer plush, luxurious Velour, this item is at a good price point and very handy--in this TWIN size--for a quick and easy afternoon nap. I ordered the red, and I liked it so well, that I ordered a second one as a back-up, also in red. Both of them work well, without any problems at all. Even if the power goes out, this twin size can easily be hooked up to a small, portable power-bank (Jackery) and keep you toasty warm all night long using very little power. Therefore, a great size for camping as well with a small Jackery Power Bank.

I'm pleased to say that the seller reached out to me and sent me a new blanket, no questions or return needed. It arrived fast and really well boxed. I'm very happy to have this replacement and the customer service was outstanding. The controller always was super hot, whether it was on or off, if it was plugged it, it was hot. After a couple months it quit working which was probably for the best. Too bad because the blanket itself was very soft and warm.

This is a super soft and snuggly blanket. The controls work great but maybe too great. It really gets HOT. And I’m a normal sore bones type to keep my pads on Hot but this blanket I can’t even get past the first setting.

I love this blanket. Nice ambient heat without being overwhelming or having crazy hot spots like other heated throws I've had. My only complaint is the material. It's super soft and warm and nice... But it's fleece so it's a magnet for static and hair. Otherwise it's great and I use it daily for chilly evening tv watching!

I've been buying heating blankeets for decade and for decade, they never lasted more than several months and never as long a year. So, I bought an extended warrnaty thinking I'd be smart and it is still working like new! It is true that the heat distribution could be better but simple arranging usually solves that. I can easily stay warm and with arthritis, it's a welcome relief. Without fail, we are being asked to judge an item before we owner and used that item to learn how well the product performs. Well, this blanket performs.

Very nice except it died after a year, and there is no way evident to get seller support. Likely the controller is dead. There is a self-support sequence which is pretty useless, since after one established that the blanket indeed does not work, there is no further action possible.

This Heated Throw Blanket is well made, the wires are light weight, not heavy and don’t interfere with your comfort. There are four speeds and they heat up very well. The red color is vibrant and rich looking. The lining is soft and cozy! It’s a great item!

UPDATE: it took me a while to see that the company had written to me hoping to resolve the situation almost immediately after posting the negative review before. they were very amenable, friendly, polite, and prompt in responding. and of course they sent me a new blanket :) i've had the new blanket for two weeks maybe - i feel bad i left this review uncorrected for so long but this winter y'all d'~.!,~b hope you're all hanging in there! and this blanket is working great - it heats up fast and has been keeping me warm in my sometimes VERY cold home office, which i am so grateful to have, and i'll choose an old building with charm and history and heart over a clean cut box any day, but when it's -22c => -28c with the windchill like it is currently in Montreal, and im in a building built over a hundred years ago in 1910, so even with blankets covering the balcony door in my office i can feel a windchill somehow! this blanket makes a huge difference! i'd be very very cold all day without it, and i forget about the cold when i have it on. again, it heats up very fast, within 30 seconds, and i put it on medium to high, and it never gets burning hot. and it stays on for at least an hour or two if not longer - it's not so hot that i feel compelled to turn it off when i leave the room for a while. i find the heat very well distributed and well stitched into the blanket, which is very soft and lovely. i also really like the particularly sturdy and well shaped heat dial, as well as the connector plug. i'd recommend it, especially given how responsible and respectful the company has been.

Would have sent it back but I recycled the box. Came in before recycling was picked up. Very disappointed! Even on low setting it’s hot. No difference between lowest and highest setting. Gets too hot on all the settings. Just gets hot in the center. Side coils don’t work. This is a very regrettable purchase! Update Customer Service e mailed me and my issues with the blanket are resolved. Very good customer service. Would not hesitate to purchase and/or recommend the company.

It's not getting heat evenly, feels like few lines are broken, may be it's transportation problem, I requested to be picked up so that I can have my money back but no one is here for pick up , feels like I am going to loose money, material is soft , feels soft on body though, but its not helping me the purpose, I am confused so I didn't put any star yet as I like rest of it only part is heating evenly or everything !I tried contacting seller regarding this also but unable to solve problem , I am helpless right now
