Basic knowledge of how this author came to be a supporter during his time in the medical community, siting his research on the subject. Then he goes on to give recipes with pictures. Just the right amount of easy to understand reading for the average person to understand the carnivore diet. A pleasant read and explanation.

EXCELLENT BOOK
I read many expensive carnivore diet books and none of them were even close to how good this book is.It told me what I needed and wanted to to know in a simple, clear understanding way. Thank You to the author and I would absolutely recommend this book to anyone wanting to learn and give this diet a try.

Good value
Nice cook book with some great recipeSome are addictive and others I am looking forward to trying!

Okay, not great
This book lacked photos and had very few recipes that are dairy-free , and of them I already knew how to make (e.g. two ingredient recipe with meat with meat and butter). The author's description was in another language!! The rest of the book was in English at least, and some recipes use a waffle maker which we don't have. If you're not sensitive to dairy this book will be more useful to you. It is laid out well and recipes are easy to read, and it has a little explanation at the beginning about starting the carnivore diet and it's benefits, etc.
