Team Controls Replacement Universal Synchronous Synchron Motor for Honeywell or Drayton Motorised Valves TC-SYN

A good replacement with all required crimps and screws supplied. Works ok. Can't comment on longevity.

Traced the fault to the motorized valve, ordered this part which arrived super quick , comes with the fittings ie mounting screws , wire connectors had it fitted in 30 mins,( including a brew stop), heating working a treat now, also a great price

Fitted perfectly onto my existing Honeywell valve. Will be interesting to see how long this lasts compared to replacing the genuine Honeywell motorised valve head at 3 to 4 times the cost and they only last 3 to 4 years. Only 2 wires to connect is also a big bonus.

A budget item, they work fine, however they get extremely hot, which I find concerning, so I check it regularly, you could fry an egg on the casing , these little motors are designed to get warm, but surely not too the point where you leave a layer of skin behind if you touch the case .

I have needed to replace the motorised valve on my central heating system and this product is the same as the original one fitted.Once you are aware that this particular part has failed, it is a fairly straightforward process to replace it. All the parts are included in the box and because it’s Amazon arrived within three days. ALWAYS make sure that the electrical supply is properly turned off before you start!!

I found this replacement a perfect match and good working replacement for the original Synchron motor. I was a little dubious from the pictures as this one has a different spindle arrangement. However, the drive gear is actually longer than the original which prevents slipping on the geared lever when in use. Otherwise, this replacement appears to be identical to the Synchron original. This was used in a Honeywell 2 Port Valve header that was not quite opening and closing correctly, the original motor appeared to have lost some of it's power but had not completely failed. This motor cured the problem.

It is not a universal fit, I had to file down the two fixing taps as they did not fit into the fixing recess's in the Danfoss HP2A motorised valve base and was preventing the drive gear of the motor meshing with the opener gear, after this was complete and assembled, I test ran the motor several times and it worked. Even with the extra adjustments required to this motor it still works out much cheaper than buying the complete valve assembly.
