Perfect addition to the grinder
This is a perfect addition to my LEM meat grinder. While it's a bit expensive, it's easy to use, easy to clean, and great if you're mixing ~15 pounds of meat or more. It's not as great if you're mixing a small batch of meat because of the height of the mixing blades above the bottom of the bin. But let's face it--when you want to make jerky, or summer sausages, you want to make a *ton* of jerky or summer sausages. Go big or go home. :)

Makes Making Sausage A Pleasure
This mixer has been a hand saver for me. No longer do I have to mix my sausage by hand. In the past I hand mixed my sausage, which is labor intensive and would freeze my hands. Now, just dump in the meat, add seasonings and turn on the switch. In just a few minutes my sausage is mixed to perfection.

Doesn't actually mix 50lbs of meat but otherwise great
I have only done one batch in this, was 38 lbs. This seemed to be the maximum capacity of the mixer. Some of the meat on the very top wasnt getting pulled down by the blades. If you are planning to use it to do 50lb batches, plan on splitting it into 2 for mixing. It was easy to take apart to clean and definitely beats mixing by hand and freezing your fingers off.
