Pearsall Naples Rod Wrapping Silk Thread

Description

This traditional rod wrapping silk thread is the larger diameter cousin of Gossamer silk thread used for fly tying and traditional rod building. It is equivalent to a 4/0 thread compared to Gossamer's 6/0 size, so it covers with fewer winds and gives a little more texture to the wrap. The colors are a great compliment to bamboo rods, for either restoration or a new rod in the traditional style. Jasper color is variegated black and orange, but the orange looks like camel brown. Most colors come 50 yds. on a spool, with a few 45 yds. to the spool.
