Yes, this is what you have been looking for.
If you are reading this review, you are probably in the same boat I was. Recently discovered that R1234yf is the new standard for automotive refrigerant, and your beloved R134a gauge set and all your fittings/can taps, etc no longer fits these new vehicles or refrigerant cans, and now have to spend hours of your life re-identifying all the bits and bobs needed to service a R1234yf system. Joy.IF you now are a good boy, and now have a R1234yf gauge set, and all you need in life is to interface with a R134a vacuum pump, this IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND adaptor is the one you need. FJC 6829 is the fitting this listing is to be precise.Disregard the negative comments/reviews for this item, as they were left by people that didn't understand what this item was intended for. It screws onto your R134a vacuum pump fitting so that your yellow R1234yf hose can attach. Works perfectly, no modifications needed. FYI I am using a Robinair R1234yf gauge set.Be warned, at the time of this writing, there appears to be no vacuum pump out there that will allow your yellow R1234yf hose to attach directly to the vacuum pump without the use of this adaptor. I think this is a purposeful short coming to prevent people from servicing R1234yf themselves.Be aware, if you use your old R134a gauge set to inject R1234yf with R134a to R1234yf adaptor fittings, you can contaminate your AC system, not a great idea. Also at the time of this writing, there appears to still be debate if you can inject R134a into a R1234yf system, something about oil compatibility. I choose the safe route and stuck with R1234yf.FYI I think Harbor Freights ICON R1234yf gauge set comes with this adaptor.

Connect vacuum pump male port to yellow hose female port.
Worked as described. The female end of the adapter screwed onto my vacuum pump's male port and the male end screwed onto the yellow hose fitting for r1234yf refrigerant.

Incorrect description
Incorrect item description: These fittings are advertised as 1/2" ACME w / LH threads female X 1/4" SAE female. This is incorrect. The fittings I received are 1/2 inch ACME male left hand thread X 1/2 inch ACME female right hand thread. They are made by FJC, part number 6829.These fittings are designed to fit a 1/2 inch ACME right hand thread R134a male fitting, such as found on some vacuum pumps, and connect to a 1/2 inch ACME left hand thread R1234yf female fitting, typically a manifold gauge set hose. They will not work with the standard SAE 1/4 inch flare male fitting found on many, many vacuum pumps (such as mine). These fittings will work great if you're trying to convert an R134a vacuum pump for R1234yf use. They will NOT work for converting an R12, R22, R410, etc. vacuum pump to R1234yf.HTH.
