Great costume! Without a hat you look a little bit like a religious cult member, but with a hat it’s perfect. I wore it to pass out Halloween candy and several older girls recognized who I was right away. It’s a high quality dress. The material was sturdy and durable. If you have a larger chest you might want to size up as this was not constructed with the more well-endowed in mind.

This is so good for the price! Just iron it and it's perfect to wear right away! It fits well, I'll probably take in the sides a tiny bit to give it more shape, but it is definitely not needed. I do recomend reinforcing the buttons as I lost one soon after wearing it. Luckily I found it and will sew it back on no problem! Great purchase. Highly impressed as I have not bought a cosplay in a long time and was worried.

I ordered this for my sister for a con, and the quality was much better than expected. She is around 5'1(ordered size M) , and it fits almost perfectly. Wearing some boots helps if you are shorter than her. I recommend ironing it beforehand. Also, the material is thick, so if you sweat a slot, you might need to wear something cool under.- Good quality- Wrinkles easily- pretty true to size

For reference, I got a size medium. The only thing for me that was a little too large where the arms, but after looking at the movie, I am pretty sure they are supposed to be that way. I was able to move freely without feeling like I was tugging on the fabric and stretching it. In my opinion, it was the perfect color of green as you see in the film. The fabric itself does not seem cheap to me as it feels durable. I feel like I got a steal of a deal for what I got! I can't wait to start wearing this for Cons!

The design and color are nice, but this definitely will not work for tall people. I am 6 foot tall, 34, 28, 38 and ordered a medium.The sleeves are a good 8 inches too short, and when they're that much too short, I can't button them on my forearms. They would've buttoned fine on my wrist but they do not reach.The skirt is full but not long. I have 4 inches above my ankle showing, but I expected it to be too short so this doesn't bother me.The torso size is way too big. It is baggy in the back instead of fitted. And the torso length is too short- it stops above my natural waist.The zipper on the neck is also very hard to use.Overall, nicely made but terrible for tall people

This was kind of a spontaneous buy. I’ve wanted a Sophie dress for years and planned to make one, but never got around to it. The fabric is nice and heavy. A bit itchy but tolerable. The zipper is well sewn and a quality piece. This is not what you expect from most costumes. I was pleasantly surprised! If considering.... just buy it! Oh and for those who don’t like turtlenecks..it does come up quite high on the neck with a ruffle on top. Charming covered buttons.

The media could not be loaded. I originally ordered a size small as I’m 5’6” and 118lbs. I was concerned it wouldn’t fit due to prior reviewers opinion so I canceled my order and purchased a medium instead. It arrived quickly.The fabric is decent; not too rigid and not too soft. It has zero give. If you are at all concerned about sizing, order a size up just in case. I would like to state that the medium does feel quite baggy on a petite frame with small bust.The fit of the dress leaves a bit to be desired- as other reviewers have mentioned, the waist is too loose and could easily be taken in at the darts if you have sewing experience or know someone who does. Personally, the sleeves are too short and the armscye is not correct for me, leaving the cuffs to hike up if I raise my arms above my head (as seen in video). The collar is not quite as snug as I had hoped; it’s probably because I ordered a medium size. I was fairly disappointed the lace collar featured in the photos is completely different than the eyelet-style fabric that is on the actual product. I can easily fix the baggy feel wby wearing full aprons (as photographed, with petticoat for added fullness) which I tend to do routinely anyway.Overall, the quality of the dress is very good with just a few minor sizing issues that could be remedied. It would be ideally suited for an inexpensive cosplay or costume. I purchased with the intent to wear daily because most dresses of this style are too expensive for me to afford but I dearly adore them and needed an affordable option.I hope this review helps.

This dress is amazing. Affordable and fit nicely. I followed the sizing chart. The material is thicker costume material, but it doesn’t look like a costume. (Which is what is important to me.) Nicely made! Quality is great. Doesn’t feel like it’ll fall apart.
