Replacement Hose Bib Connector Brass 3060-CG EZ-FLO Fertilizer Injection System(1)

The original plastic broke easily where the lines go in. This one works perfectly and I don't have to worry about it getting brittle and fragile in the weather.

Had a heck of a time finding non-plastic replacement parts. This works beautifully and will last MUCH longer than the plastic one my EZ injector came with. I would have been happy to pay more for this in the first place.

Replaced an older plastic version which the nozzle connections can easily break off.

I give this a 1 star review not because the product deserves it, but because I want others searching 1 star reviews to see it.ASTI and other poor readers have complained about threading issues. ASTI even posts a picture with 3 versions of this product cross-threading as he attempts to force them into his PVC coupling.The description clearly says "Garden Hose Connection Brass Female Swivel GHT x Male GHT". Apparently, ASTI doesn't know the difference between NPT (pipe thread) and GHT (garden hose thread). They are very different, and incompatible without an adapter.Sadly, PRIME doesn't allow comments directly on other reviews. I hope anyone considering his review sees this first. My apologies to EZ-Flow for the 1 star review. I own both the 2 gal and 3/4 gal versions of these feeder systems, and have been extremely pleased.

1) I made my own injector using this part, two pieces of 1/4" line, and a CO2 generator soda bottle cap (maybe $15 in extra parts). Since reviews on the complete injector systems suggest that tanks don't last, I might as well use a tank that's cheap to replace (a 2 liter soda bottle). I keep the soda bottle covered to limit BPA and other VOCs. I also added two 1/4 valves, but I never needed them.2) This adapter does not come with the flow restrictor washers. Fortunately, they are not hard to find (general plumbing washers of about the right size). There is a seat for them in this unit. In the official EZ-FLO system, you use these to limit bypass flow and thereby direct more pressure into the fertilizer tank. This works fine in my system as well. My drip circuits use over 50GPH, and I could probably run this without a restrictor washer altogether.3) The inlet leaks when under pressure. It's a drip, not a flood, but it can be a problem depending on location. Maybe using better hose washers would address the issue.

This isn't a true replacement for the plastic bib as the flow rings are too small to fit this "replacement."

The threads on this model Ez Flo will not align to the female adapter.It screws in at a angleNot Easy to use.And Suction is only good as your water pressure to make it work.The first adapter on left came with the kit.I thought that it was defective and it leaked water all over the place like A fire hydrant that’s on a Hot New York City summer day.So I ordered another Ez Flo adapter from a different seller.The adapter is the middle picture.This one screws in crooked also.So I go online and find a different seller order Ez Flo from there company.As you can see the 3rd adapter is brass and this one screwed in crooked also!THEY ALL LEAN LIKE THE TOWER OF PISA.I’ve ordered this Ez Flo adapter from3 DIFFERENT SELLERS.From 3 Different States.My opinion is the original mold that was made to make these Ez Flo adapters.Is defective, So all of these Ez Flo adapters are going to be defective.AND NOT GOING TO WORK.So do not!! waste your time buying thisEz Flo model adapter anywhere!Seems easy to put on but leaks awfully bad.So take my advice or you’ll be taking it back to UPS/USPS with long lines, gas shortage, COVID 19. Who needs the headacheRemember I told you so hurts.
