Miscly 3 Pairs Flat Waxed Cotton Boot Laces Shoelaces 1/4″ Wide

I needed new boot laces after my original ones broke. I love how there are different colors of brown in the pack, so I was able to choose one that best fit my boot. It fit perfectly without any adjustment. The material is good quality and appears like it will last a long time. Its been on my boot for the past 3 months and still looks new.

Exactly what I was looking for. I needed replacement strings for my Rockport boots and these were perfect. They look exactly like the original strings that came with the boots. Hopefully they'll last longer than the originals. I love that I got 3 pairs of strings in the package so I don't have to re-order again in 3 months when these break. Nice strings, well made, waxed nicely and stay tied like they should. Nothing more you can ask for out of shoe laces.

I ordered the 54 inch flat waxed cotton boot laces to replace the flat waxed Red Wing brand laces on my Heritage Beckman round toe boot. Laces appear to be same quality...And at what is about 1/3rd the price, I thought I would give them a shot. The flat lace really makes the boot "pop", compared to a round lace (see photos) . While these laces are not intended for work, as much as they are dress... I think they will hold up as good, if not better than Red Wing's stock flat laces. If the laces hold up substantially better, and I can get over a year's worth of use out of them without breaking, I will upgrade the review rating of these laces to five stars. The 54" laces are a better length fit than the laces that originally came with my boots...And at 54", they can be laced up all 7 eyelets with enough room to tie.

The lace looks great with my Sketchers and it's been three weeks since installed on the shoes I wear daily. The lace continues to look great and holding up very well. No wear on eyelet of shoe and lace.

A couple years past, I got fed up with the round laces that always come with my shoes. They always came untied. So I got some really wide ones. And those worked good, I thought . Until these shoes need a shorter length of lace. Those other wide laces do not come in that size. So I found these. Then I learned that the wide-ness of the lace is not what keeps the shoe tied. These laces are waxed, and that is what I need for my situation. These tie shut like they have been welded shut. Whenever I get a new shoes, I'll order these at the same time. I recommend these to everyone I know. I've only had them for a couple weeks. But on initial inspection, they are of a lot better quality than those you might get at wal mart or any of he shoe depot around the mall. They buy their stuff to make themselves a buck, so they get the cheapest stuff that will clear the bar. These are of the best manufacturing I have ever seen on a shoe lace. If only I could have found these when I was a younger, and was always on my shoes. Now the most exercise I get is walking to the car. But even so. I'm old now and if my laces came untied. That could spell a hospital visit (I hear a bunch of people die every year walking to the mailbox, and I don't think all of them get hit by a car.). These take one more "danger" off my mind. These are about 1/16" thicker than the stock laces that came on my Thursdays, but fit the speed hooks without any issue. One disappointment: they're not particularly waxy. The laces do have a very light coating of wax, sure, but not particularly waxy when compared to, say, Red Wing's laces. So far, they've managed to stay tied, but I suspect that as the wax coating beings to wear against the eyelets and speed hooks, that quality will diminish. In all, the laces are adequate for now, but really wish they had a thicker waxed coating.

This is a three pack of brown shoelaces that I would describe a a chocolate brown. They are waxed, just like it says in the description. The ends are wrapped in a plastic-type coating. I wish the ends were wrapped with a metal cap thin enough to thread through eyelets; I'd be willing to pay extra for the metal cap. But I cannot find a flat, waxed lace with a. metal cap nimble enough to fit through the eyelets of my shoes, so I settled upon these. They do the job.Made in China, if that matters to you. I'd like to see Made in the USA for a change. Since I cannot find EXACTLY what I want in a shoelace, I bought these.

Nice quality

Looks good, I like the colour, and plenty long (60"+) for my 7 eyelet Chippewa Service boot. The wax layer is thin, though. My original laces where thicker where you could feel the "bounce" in the fabric when pinching the lace. This may get thicker as I apply more conditioning (I use mink oil - moneysworth).

They're shoelaces alright, but not the best quality and they are not waxed. Suitable for running shoes but they absolutely are not boot laces.
