Q: How thick is the vinyl without the backing?

Idk exact measurements but it’s pretty thick

Q: What does it look like at night? I just want to make sure it looks relatively normal in color and the lights are still bright.

The light output will actually be more of a pink color, which is weird since the tint has more of a greenish iridescent color. It's still as bright as what it is without the film but I would say that when it reflects off the road or other things, it appears like it's a small bit less bright. In the same way the blue color temps of some HID bulbs don't actually light the road as well as more white.

Q: Is this product legal to use in Texas?

The state of CA & Texas require all head lights to reflect only Clear or white light. No other color than that is legal. Even certain over the counter brands which are blue or shades of blue can be ticketed. This film I am using is for a show car that is not a daily driver. Please always review this with a State Troopers or High Patrol local office.
