Great Upgrade Extended Battery
These batteries are a great upgrade. Significantly increase run-time over the small stock battery. Great price too. I keep the short battery as a backup. Ive had them for years with no noticable degradation. Recommend 👍🏼

Very long life.
Perfect fit for my UV-5G PRO . I had this off the charger scanning for 36 hours and it only drop 1 bar . I really like this .

Just what I needed
It was a perfect replacement for the one that went bad.

Works well, but requires trimming
I've only had it for a few days, and a single day of use. Working in first response this battery makes the radio feel easier and more robust to use. It doubles the size (and nearly weight) of the radio. But it is nice that after a day of use, I don't have to worry about charging it before I use it again 9still has 3 out of 4 bars). The only issue I have with the battery is that it's the same model and manufacturer as the standard battery. But, it requires some trimming of the front lip on the battery itself in order to seat to the radio. I would think that as the same model and brand, it should just fit perfectly out of the package. Otherwise, seems well worth the extra coins for the extra run time if charging or extended use are a possibility/necessity for you.

Not for TP5 variant; works fine in UV-5G Pro
Was hoping to use this in my TP5, but there is no means for the battery to lock in. Update: I have since procured a UV-5G Pro, and the battery fits perfectly in it. Updated review to 5 stars.

Perfect for byonics fox
Must to clarify this is NOT the usb c version. Normally I would have preferred the usbc version but I am using this with one of the byonics fox’s which it works perfect for. 10 out of 10 would recommend.
