Best Tactical bag I’ve used
Let me start by saying I’m a 25 year tactical EMT, I have used a multitude of equipment in my years of service. This company first tactical is actually the group of guys that started 5.11 They took all the years of product knowledge and building up that brand and started a new one building on the foundation of what they’ve learned. They truly make some of the best tactical products out there. This bag can be used and converted from multiple different scenarios and is ridiculously comfortable with the added waist belt. I took it a step further and completed the entire bag with the Westfield and the riffle bag. It distributes the weight so perfectly and comfortably that you can literally wear the equipment all day long either over your plate carrier or just over your regular uniform.

Cheap Zippers
I like this bag. It's tough and sturdy and has a pocket for everything. It's also water-resistant--which is a big deal to me. It's the reason I got this bag instead of the 5.11 Rush 72 bag (which is not water-resistant). But when this bag arrived, I learned that First Tactical did not use YKK zippers, but some kind of budget option. The result? You have 40 zipper pockets, and they all snag and catch and need to be nurtured to open. No, thank you.Net result? I had to send it back. The choice was taking a chance of getting things wet, or fighting to get them out of the bag whenever I needed them.I went back and got the 5.11 55L Rush 72 bag instead.

There’s as good, there’s nothing better. Coming from a guy who edc’s a Vanquest katana 16.
First impressions are this bag is awesome. Having owned Maxpedition, Cannae, Vertx and goRuck I know this is the most functional 20L-60L bag. If you cannot fit what you need with a few things you want in a organized way in this bag you should be ashamed of yourself. The side pockets are worth it alone massive pockets that fit more than just large bottles, the pass through pocket can be used as regular pocket and the slot with the hard plastic (awesome feature) fits a survival blanket which adds padding to your back. Full hook and loop back main section works extremely well and a full roll of plus 10% gorilla duct tape 2” fits at bottom with room to spare. By choice I have my fire kit attached to pack but it’s not necessary, Everything fits great. It doesn’t have waist strap, and netting holding back padding seems weak. However stitching looks similar to my vanquest gear and internal stitching didn’t snap with same product than snapped Cannae internal stitching. Overall just a better bag than Cannae makes. On par but more functional than the big three Vanquest, Maxpedition and Vertx. Don’t get me started on those overpriced bags goRuck sells. I get the exercise function but still average quality at best.

Versatile, Multi-functional, and Reconfigurable using MOLLE aadons
I wanted the build quality of a true military-grade pack and I also wanted the versatility of MOLLE addons, etc... I've also grown tired of the build quality of packs from larger companies (Swiss, etc) and having to deal with zippers breaking etc.It may seem like overkill to use this pack for grad school and as a mobile CAD workstation (I carry my work laptop with all the peripherals, etc), but I don't have to worry about the pack breaking, it safely holds all my gear and the side straps do a wonderful job compressing the pack when it is not packed full and used for 3-day hiking excursions. It may be a tab too big for a smaller individual, but if you have a bit of muscle mass and a larger frame, it is perfectly sized and multi-functional. I use my pack for cycling, hiking, work and travel. It is truly versatile, and has an A+ build quality with limitless configurations if you take advantage of MOLLE addons.

Don't buy used
I got this bag used under the heading "used, very good" and it came to me in the wrong color, with sweat smell on it. Buy new if possible and please note that the color called "coyote" is not as seen on the ad. It is actually what people refer to as "olive drab", kind of like a standard Army issue light green color and not the autumn leaf color as seen in the ad. The bag itself seems to be well made and in overall good condition, I am just going to have to put it in my dryer and put dryer sheet in with it, to eliminate the sweat smell. I will then have to sanitize it. This should not have been listed as "used, good condition"

Topf of the line, highly recommended.
I was looking for a good tactical backpack. Was looking at the 5.11 options but then found this. Glad I went with this one. It's lower cost and higher quality and better build. Used it a few times already and it feels like I have nothing strapped to my body no matter what I put in it.Highly Recommended.

3 day scouting pack. Awesome..
This pack is something else. I was torn between the 5.11 and this 72hour pack and I'm sure glad I picked this one.I'm going on a scouting trip and looking for a pack that can hold all my gear. This pack held it all, maybe even to much room for gear. LoL.The material is great, zippers are good, the compression straps helps a lot. The shoulder straps are padded and wide enough my my shoulders and feels good with 35 lbs of gear in it.Try this pack, you won't be disappointed.

This is by far the best backpack that I have ever bought
This is by far the best backpack that I have ever bought. The fit and finish of this pack is top quality. The material and stitching is what I would consider military grade. Some other reviewers have commented on the size being a little on the 'large' side but this bag is perfect for my environment. In the desert southwest, it can be in the 30's in the morning, 80's in the afternoon and then back down to the 30's in the late evening during our 'winter' time. Which means stowing whatever layers of clothing you take off or put on is not an issue while still having room for your hiking/camping gear. This backpack has highly exceeded my expectations.

Nice Pack
The pack looks fantastic, I ordered another pack previously from another place and it arrives with a warning about containing a chemical known to cause cancer, this bag contains no such warnings. Plenty of space, seemingly solid construction. If I notice any flaws over time I'll return to update this. The shipping, however, was not gentle; I'm glad this wasn't breakable. Might want to investigate this Amazon.

Top 3-Day Rucksack
Einsatzgebiet: Freizeit, Sport, dienstlich

Bag for Buck!
Great sturdy bag. Could use some straps on the inside so everything doesnt slump to the bottom after a long hike, and maybe some way to hook up a water bladder. Other then that flawless.
