In general, I like this item. For the person who said it only took 3 hours to complete, I wouldn’t count on it. I’ve already done 3 sessions of 2-3 hours each and I’m still not done. One more session and I’ll be finished.Things I wish I had realized before receiving this is that I should’ve bought the biggest canvas. The numbers are really small and it can be difficult to see where a space associated with a number begins and ends. The paint brushes are just ok. I have purchased my own set of brushes for future projects that will be better for the teeny tiny spaces. Things I like are that it’s already framed, I had plenty of paint and it’s decent paint for a kit.

Love it love it. Cannot wait to get my next one.

We are in our seventies and trying to stay out of the way of the new Omicron variant, so we are looking for things to do at home. My wife mentioned before Christmas that she remembered paint-by-number paintings from her childhood, and I remember my father painting a couple of them when I was little. I was looking for something to put under the tree (at out daughter's house) for her, so I ordered this small, simple kit for her to start on. It had the added advantage of fitting in with the beachy theme in our apartment. She works on it every day. It has to help with concentration and hand-eye coordination. The paint is water-based, so she can easily clean her brushes at the end of a session. We already have a spot picked out for it to hang on our bedroom wall with the other beach paintings that we didn't do ourselves.

My first paint by numbers kit was great, you can see the numbers clearly and they are dark compared to the kits I received after this canvas. The paints are thick but you have to go over the lines and numbers again if it's a light color of paint. I don't think it's for kids unless they have the time and patience. You need steady hands. It's a lot of dabbing for the tiny spots you need to paint. Nice looking picture overall. I had to trim the frayed hairs on the smallest brush after some use

Some numbers/sections are teeny. But overall this was fun to paint.A bit of advice: use a white acrylic paint pen to cover the larger numbers, as there are a lot of light-colored sections. Will save time.
