These do work as advertised!!
These sound proof panels are the best. I’ve purchased so many of these I lost count. I put them in the laundry room / closet to keep the machine warm and to cut down on the noise. They work as intended and the price is doable. Just stick them and leave them. If you pull them off they will need either glue or more sticky tabs. Glue such as 🦍 would work best in my experience.

Easy to put up
I bought these to put on the inside of my closet as it shares a wall with the living room TV (that seems to never be on a low volume by my roommates). My hope was that it would help "trap" the noise inside of my closet. I can tell a faint difference but I think I'll need to order a couple more packs in order to make a clear difference as only part of the wall has these panels on it. Beyond that, they're VERY easy to set up so I wouldn't hesitate to get another pack in the future.

Simple and minimal
Package arrived nicely within a fairly flat box and it surprised me by how much the package was shrunken and once opened expanded out to 12 acoustic panels. The adhesive is good in allowing the panels to stick to the walls with no trouble and so far they have not fallen down. Good for the price.

Good when they stay put!
Purchased these to help with the sound in our apartment as my wife and I decided to turn one of the bedrooms into the office/man cave/karaoke room/Theater. I ended up installing a projector and a surround sound system to watch movies, sing karaoke, listen to music, and to go with the basketball/football games that are going on. But because we are still in an apartment that actually doesn't have a noise issue , we wanted to be courteous and make it better so that we can assure no noise disturbances. We only had one wall that had the neighbors room that we needed to worry about. the other wall that has the other unit attached actually has the kitchen on that wall so we weren't too concerned about that. We decided that a 12 pack should be enough being that we had some sports mem and photos/canvas hung up that were already in place. All 12 arrived in a large plastic mail baggie that was taped tightly to secure the package. All were then vaccum sealed to where it looked like there was only 1-2 of them inside but as soon as you open the package, they all grow and you woulda never realized that there was 12 of these in that package. Each panel has a full sticky backside and then it came with some extra double sided sticky patches just in case. I spent a good amount of time scrubbing the walls first to get rid of any dust/dirt/unknown crusties.... Then spent a good amount of time wiping down the specific areas these pads were to be installed with rubbing alcohol and let them dry.I was able to get them all installed just where I wanted them to be and all were just fine for a couple of days. We noticed a change in sound in the room and it was for sure for the better! I even bumped into my neighboar and had asked if they had heard us singing at 2am and had also watched a movie that had a lot of bass to it and they said they didn't hear much other than what they assumed was just a tv that was left on at low volume. I was surprised by the answer since we only installed these every 12 inches with a panel size gap in between each just like a checkerboard. And it was only on half the longest wall in the room.Unfortunately, without being touched at all, the panels started to slowly peel from the corners. Then each panel started hanging on for dear life one by one by one! We tried just pushing it back into place and holding it for about a minute to hopefully get a nice solid contact plus used the extra sticky patches and still, all eventually decided to just peel off the wall.At that point we didnt want to spend anymore time and money on it and just set these guys off to the side for maybe another time when we found a better solution to the sticky problem. But to be sure, we just asked our neighbor to listen in that night as we wanted to test the sound out to see if it was a problem. Next morning, bumped into them outside on their walk and sure enough, they were not bothered whatsoever! Not saying these weren't useful because they are! I would love to reinstall these with more panelts to cover as much space as possible but can't make that move till the problem has a solid solution and not until I am able to spend more money on these since I don't have any reason to get these back up in a rush.3 stars because they did work as sound as the sound goes but they lost 2 stars due to the stickyness issue which I am sure would be a huge annoyance to almost everyone if they had to deal with that issue.

Flimsy, Barely reduce sound transfer
Everyone who actually understands noise reduction and soundproofing knows these foam panels are a waste of money. They do block some noise, but nowhere near enough to be effective. Now for the real issues— the adhesive backing is terrible and comes dried out from the warehouse. It barely sticks at first but somehow still manages to rip paint off when removed. And good luck taking them down cleanly; the foam is so flimsy it tears apart, leaving chunks stuck to the wall. They’re soft and flimsy like toilet paper, not firm and dense like real soundproofing material, which actually requires thickness, density, and mass to work. Even if you covered an entire room with these, it wouldn’t come close to true soundproofing.I had to use spray adhesive just to get them to stay up. Save your money.

Awesome!
These are great sound absorbing panels for use anywhere you need to deaden sound. I'm using them behind a TV to reduce the sound transmitted through the wall to the adjoining room (a bedroom).Super easy to install and stick pretty well. Just make sure you clean the surface thoroughly and follow up with an alcohol wipe before installing.Came in an 18 pack which was plenty to cover the wall behind the tv and entertainment center and you hardly notice that they are there being black and all. They really make a difference in the noise being transferred to the adjoining room. Doesn't eliminate it completely and bass especially will go through, but it does help. Two thumbs up!

Do not recommend
I work from home and have put up soundproofing panels to help with the noise. However, they are not very thick, and I haven't noticed any difference in sound quality. Additionally, I had to use thumbtacks to keep them in place because the adhesive on the back doesn't hold well.
