Great cheap passive component switch with no noticeable picture quality loss.
Works great for switching video inputs between my MiSTer FPGA, PS2, Gamecube, and Wii on my CRT. I've used multiple component cable brands with the HD Retrovision Male-to-Male cables connecting the switch box to the TV and did not notice any degradation to the picture quality whatsoever. It can take up to three different inputs with a single output to your TV or upscaler which is plenty for me and I only have to switch out the Gamecube and Wii cables with my current setup but it's a lot cheaper than something like the Gcomp automatic 8:2 switch. The switch box is a passive one so it doesn't require any A/C adapter and it's housed in a simple black metal enclosure but I would recommend getting some stick-on adhesive rubber feet to put on the bottom just so it doesn't slide around wherever you place it. For less than $20, this is one of the best options for a component switch if you are tired of constantly plugging and unplugging component cables from the back of your massive CRT or your RetroTink, OSSC, or other fancy upscalers.

Simple and effective switch box
I'm using this switch box to connect my PS2 and GameCube to a RetroTINK 5X upscaler. I don't have enough equipment to warrant buying an expensive automatic switch like a gComp, and this switch does the trick. It feels well constructed, and the switch buttons are easy to press and make it clear which input is selected. I used my label maker to label each button. I haven't noticed any signal degradation after adding this switch into the mix. The "instruction manual" that comes in the box includes many hilariously poor translations, but for a device this simple, no manual is needed anyhow.

Cheap but does the job
I have a lot of retro consoles. I needed a way to hook up a PS2, Xbox and Xbox 360 via component to my HDTV. Unplugging and plugging in these every time I wanted to use a console was just going to be downright annoying. So I saw this and the price was right so figured why not. I spent what I saved on this on very good quality cables. My first impressions was just sheer laughter. It was light and definitely built cheaply. I took a look at the instructions and it was hands down the worst translations I've ever seen from a Chinese product. They were laughably useless and we're in complete jibberish. But this switch is simple. Plug in your cables for your devices and plug in a cable from the box to the TV and you're good to go. You can't screw it up if you tried. Otherwise, this thing works quite well. I didn't notice any image quality issues or anything. So I'd say this was a good buy. I do have a couple issues with it though that leads me to deduct a star. Really, the only reason I deducted a star is because it slides very easy on my TV stand when I press a button. Because it's light and it has no rubber feet to keep it from sliding, you have to hold it when changing sources. It's no big deal to buy some adhesive rubber strips to slap on the bottom, but that is something that should have been included with the build. Also the switches are pretty tinny feeling but hey, for the price I'm not knocking it for that since they do work fine. In conclusion, for the price this works well. I'm satisfied and I do recommend it. There's more expensive switches on the market but I don't see any reason for me to upgrade right now. We'll see if it lasts because it is cheaply made. But again, for the price, this works for me.

Ideal for single input component cables, adequate for composite
This item was purchased largely as a replacement for my older composite splitter unit since I have several game consoles that utilize component video cables for use, but a flat-screen TV that only had one component input. It was also considered due to the fact that not only did it not need to be externally powered, but also was compatible with composite video signals, albeit not at the best quality due to the nature of the signal. Granted, the device could only take in three sources as opposed to my older composite splitter's four, considering the video quality alone, it makes up the difference. All in all, I would highly recommend this product for such entertainment and gaming setups that require more than one component input, though composite is questionable at best.

Great Entry Level Device and Budget Friendly
For the price, this mechanical switcher is durable and has good video/audio quality. This a great entry level device for anyone needing a switcher on a budget. I have this connected to an RetroTink 5x (upscaler) and three older consoles. After a year of usage, I have two recommendations: First recommendation is to apply non-slip pads to this device as it slides alot on smooth surfaces or during connection set-up. Second recommendation is to use good video cables to get the most out this device and your retro consoles.

Works fine for retro gaming...
I have been using this switch with an XBox Original and a Dreamcast (via a Retrotek VGA to component). It is currently connected up to an LG TV. I am unable to notice any lose in signal quality, degradation of image quality, artefacts, etc. The physical quality of the product is fine and it operates and functions perfectly fine. I have owned the product for a few weeks now and none of the switches have caused issues. I will eventually test this through an OSSC and will update this review if I experience or notice any problems. Would happily purchase this again if I need a second unit.

Se ve bastante bien.
Buen producto. Este tipo de artilugios suelen dar problemas en cuanto a la nitidez, pero en este caso se ve bastante bien. Hace un poco de aguas pero apenas se notan, son muy pequeñas y hay que acercarse mucho para poder notarlo.
