I have been using it for the last 4 weeks and it seems it is started working. I am seeing new hair cells are being activated. I could already see some improvement in the area, where I needed hair growth. I have tried other hair regrowth products and they seem to have a disgusting smell. This product does not smell bad at all. I would recommend it! I will be using this product for another 3-4 months and will come back and update the review again

This was used once a day for about 2 weeks. It did seem to reduce hair loss during that time, but didn't have any effect yet on regrowth. It would have been used for longer, but it was sticky and made the hair harder to style and because a certain look was needed for a theatrical show it had to be discontinued. Hair loss definitely increased upon stopping use of the product. Given the cost, continuing to use the product in an ongoing fashion was not going to be a realisitic option, and since the effect stopped with use, there didn't seem to be much point to going back to it again and dealing with the stickiness and styling issues. If cost isn't a factor, this could very well be a product that delivers on its promises.

Once I sprayed this product and massaged, it feels fresh on the entire scalp and it alleviates itching as their effectiveness. This product is very good to me as much as it is expensive. I ordered Vitabrid shampoo and waiting that product, I'm expecting their shampoo will be good as well. I recommend this product, this tonic and powder are nice to feel clear on your scalp.

This product is very good for my hair and scalp. It gives your scalp a menthol feeling. I use it along with scalp care shampoo. I feel it helps my hair to be stronger and thicker after using it!!! Highly recommend!!!

As I’ve gotten into my late 40’s, my hair up top has noticeably thinned. I’m always skeptical when it comes to over-the-counter hair growth products, but I thought I’d test this one out for a month and see if there was any noticeable difference. Ultimately, there wasn’t. The first issue I ran into was with the instructions. While the product was simple enough to use, the instructions did not indicate whether to use it on wet or dry hair or if it mattered. I initially used it on wet hair. After applying it, it dried stiff, like I over-used a powdery substance in my hair. This made it hard to style. I then tried it on dry hair but got the same effect it drying stiff. Then there was the smell. This product has a strong menthol odor which really isn’t all that appealing – especially when it comes to hair. I felt like I had smeared Vicks or Ben Gay on my head. Although it does dissipate after a short period of time (25-30 minutes), but it made me feel self-conscious of smelling like menthol. Of course the menthol smell comes with the menthol cooling sensation. Maybe this stimulates the hair follicles to pop up due to goosebumps…I don’t know. As I said, I saw no results after a month’s worth of use. Plus, to me, it wasn’t worth bearing with the smell, discomfort, and the inconvenience of having to re-do my hair anytime I used it (recommended twice a day). Not a product I’d recommend.

Getting older is not that much fun. I used to have super cool Jason Priestly type hair in my younger days...I can't go with that look anymore because my hair has become coarser over time and harder to style so I like to keep it short (plus I don't think the Priestly look as come back in style yet). So what the hay...I gave this Vitabrid hair tonic a try. I felt a bit too much like a chemist mixing powders and bottles..but I did it and have been putting this stuff on my hair after my shower. The product is unobtrusive in my hair during the day. I gotta say after a few weeks my hair is a little less coarse, a little more youthful. I don't think my hair will ever be youthful enough (or willing) to go back to the Priestly or Bieber...but this Vitabrid is helping out a bit. I should also point out that I've tried alot of shampoos, conditioners, etc over the years and generally haven't helped my hair as much as this Vitabrid. So at current price of $74 which lasts about one month...this stuff ain't cheap...but if nothing else is working for you then it might be worth a try. 4-STAR rating by me in consideration of price/value.

I really wanted this product to work. As a woman thinning hair is devastating. I started noticing thinning on the top when I was 23 and have been self conscious since then. The only time my hair felt 'thick' was when I was pregnant and it didn't fall out for 9 months. Six months after having my twins I literally had bald spots from the hormone dump. (I've recovered some and gained some back) I applied this twice a day, on wet hair in the morning after a shower and in the evening after dinner. In the morning after blow drying, my hair was weighed down a bit. I did opt not to use my normal product for volume as I didn't want to lose any chance of hair regrowth. It wasn't exactly a sticky feeling but kind of a dirty hair feeling. At night, after spraying on I didn't plan to go anywhere because that wouldn't have been possible. I'm not sure if it was the buildup from the second spray or just spraying on dry hair and letting it air dry, but it dried, hard and made my hair look kind of greasy. There is just no going in public after that. In the end (3 ½ weeks) maybe I saw some thickening of the actual shaft of the hair but I'm not sure it would stay that way if it weren't for the constant spraying. For me it's not something I care to keep up with. I didn't see any new growth from this product but I believe it did help my dandruff. I can get any dandruff shampoo for that and it works great. I don't believe I'll be trying this again. It's just too much to keep up with.
