Works great, easy to attach to the yolink app. I have a backup generator that does not connect to wifi. when I'm away this lets me know when normal power is off and when it is restored. The only draw back, it has a built-in audible alarm that can be turned down but not off, not a big deal just depends on were you install it as to whether it bothers you. On the app it can be set to cut off after as little as 10 seconds.

Easy setup. Tested by flipping the breaker to the outlet I had it connected to, and it correctly alarmed and then notified me once power was restored.Supplied power cable could be longer, but I had many others lying around that worked for my purpose.

Works as it should. The app lets you decide how to be notified in case of a power outage - I chose a text with that particular number having a super obnoxious text tone. Yolink stuff is very simple to set up and they are pretty imaginative as far as product design goes. Not the physical design - it’s pretty basic - but the things a person would want to do with such things.Their customer service if there ever is a problem, is top notch too so I know if something fails, they will help.

I like how smart and easy installation of this product, However, I prefer to add a feature to link this product to the WiFi directly without the need of the hub (which is not included and is mandatory for internet).

I have been looking for a power failure detection system for awhile and there are not too many available. I had installed the YoLink temperature sensors in my several refrigerators/freezers after having one of the machines fail while I was out of town and no one noticed for about a week. When I saw that YoLink also has a power failure alarm I jumped on it due to price and ease of installation. I have not had a failure yet but when testing it worked well so I am pretty confident it will work when I need it. Note you do need a YoLink hub to use this, but one hub covers all their various sensors and the hub is not that expensive. YoLink does not conform to the various automation systems like Z-Wave, Zigbee, SmartThings, Matter, etc, but unlike some of the above YoLink sets up easy and works very well with excellent battery life in the sensors and has excellent signal strength so sensors can be installed some distance from the hub and inside steel boxes and still function. You can connect it to Alexis, Google and others but I have not done this yet.

I’m impressed with the ease of use after initial set up. Alarms and notifications when you loose power to your device. I got mine after loosing hundreds of dollars in frozen food and not knowing for weeks that my chest freezer in the shed had power loss.Great range. My Hub is in a cabinet out of sight and has no connection issues with the module far outside in the shed.

So far, this has been one of the best purchase's that I have made. the installation and programming went without a hitch. I am not tech savvy and usually depend on my son to handle things that have to do with the internet or any electronic. Instructions were a breeze, and everything was up and running in a very short time. I have now complete statistics on both my freezer and my refrigerator with alarms to let me know if everything is working properly.

I wanted to love this item but I have 3 of them and only 1 works. I have 3 remote properties that seem to have a lot of power issues. Purchased the YoLink devices because I utilize other YoLink sensors. 2 of the devices do not detect outages and power restoral. YoLink sent a replacement but that one doesn’t work reliably either as it detects outages but doesn’t detect restoral until hours after the power is restored.
