Really good stuff.
I would give it a 5 but it takes a while to dry here in louisiana. But it's really pretty with 2 coats

Thick and shinny
Went on very well. Thicker than most polyurethanes.

This is NOT clear like it says!!! It is yellowish brown.
This product is NOT clear like it says. It is yellowish brown and does not dry in 12 hrs. I applied it over a week ago and it is still not dry in some places. This product lacks quality.

Floor Poly works great
My husband coated 2000 feet of flooring and it looks great. This product was used in 40F because we were trying to get ready for an event and have the floor dry and the water for the hall hadn't been turned on yet.

This polyurethane is terrible
I bought a gallon of this polyurethane to finish a large workbench that is topped with hardwood maple plywood. I mixed and stirred as directed and applied the material. I expected it to dry to the touch and harden after 6-8 hours as advertised. After 4 days, the finish was still very soft and was sticky when touched. I called the manufacturer and they asked me some questions. Their conclusion was that the coat I applied was too thick. My application was not very thick. They could not tell me what is "too thick". I asked what I can do about it and they said that I have to wait. I asked how long, and they did not have an answer to that. Today, 6 days after application the material is still very soft and sticky. I called the manufacturer again and I was told to put the bench in the sun. Good concept, however the bench weigh about 400 lbs, and it rains outside. I asked again what else I can do and they said wait (indefinitely!). Later this evening I tried to remove a small part with a scraper and to my surprise it was as soft as butter! It came off so easily! The polyurethane finish is supposed to be hard as a rock. I have used other brands successfully in the past, however it appears that this brand has a problem. The manufacturer told me many stories about the chemistry and their experienced chemists but they did not stand behind their product.Update 11/23/2013: I was able to scrape off the entire coat of this material fairly easy (6 days after it was applied...). I then applied a coat of Minwax 63010 Fast Drying Polyurethane (Minwax 63010 Fast Drying Polyurethane Clear Satin Finish, Quart). It is much easier to apply the Minwax, and it dried in 3 hours. The Minwax costs a little more, but it ends up costing much less if you figure all the hassle I had with Diamond Brite.Don't waste your time and money on this product.
