The best drone for a beginner like me.
Very easy to fly for a beginner. Out of the box I was flying in minutes. Simple controls, the altitude hold works perfectly. WiFi connection to your phone doesn't have but maybe 50-75 foot range however. It takes excellent video to the onboard micro SD card. Some "jello" but was to be expected with a solid mount camera. No jello when hovering. I had one motor go bad fairly soon after purchase and bought a replacement motor, but had problems with stability after repair. I contacted the seller and they replaced the item right away. Great customer service and support. Durable enough for a beginner (keep the blade guards on till comfortable with flying) I will buy other syma drones I'm very satisfied.

Flyaway drone
Was really excited to use this. Unfortunately, on the very first flight the drone flew away - completely lost control with the transmitter. Never to be seen again. Bad quality product. Very disappointed

Buy this after they work the glitches out
A basically good product that needs some design fixes. Altitude hold is a great help for beginners. If you use headless mode, be sure to reset the direction for every flight including the first one. I was able to fly it fairly well even in my small back yard on the second day. On the third day one of the motors burned out. Dear developers: Software that protects motors is not rocket science. The propeller guards are only effective for flat surfaces like walls. Tree branches and furniture legs will get between the guards and cause damage. The manual has problems that go beyond bad English. You will have to guess what they mean and guess again if it doesn't work.UPDATE: I managed to replace the sick motor. Basic soldering skills are needed. Some utube videos gave me a little bit of drone savvy. Now the drone is a good as new.

Very fun, gave to Grandson (8 years old) as a gift and after two sessions he was no longer crashing. He flew it all by himself and was taking video, pictures and doing flips. Battery life is short, but as advertised, I would suggest purchasing additional batteries. Great gift and value for the money. Easy to use with auto take off and landing.

just not a good drone
i bought this a bit ago thinking it would be a step up from my D650WH drone but it most definitely was not. i think it is too light weight and the motors seem really undersized. the drone also just drops connection randomly like 50 ft away from you. i have had 2 successful flights (which were a alright) out of 4. i have already replaced a motor and i guess need to change 2 more now that the drone just disconnected and fell out of the sky. so i say buy at your own risk, maybe you will get a perfectly working drone, maybe you will spend more time replacing parts than actually flying the drone. ..

Solid value, but with quirks
Brushed drones have come such a long way, and I am a huge fan of the geared/brushed setup running 8520 motors on a 1-2s. It's a versatile design used by Propel, Visuo, and others. In years past I have used a few of the more popular toy grade ones to get some cheap FPV thrills (with the help of an AIO 5.8 camera and my trusty VRD2 goggles). Increased flight time with minimal cost!So how does this one stack up? Well, it's complicated. First the good stuff:1: The Box: Really solid packaging. Nothing broken, shifted, or busted up. It even has a controller layout and QR code for the app if you want to use your phone instead of the controller. Nice.2: The bundle itself: Drone? Check. Controller? Check. Batteries, charger, extra props, and guard? Yeah buddy. Great deal.3: Has the lift to carry a 25mw AIO and power it!!!!4: 11.MINUTES.OF.FLIGHT.TIME.Now the less than good stuff:1: It's light. wait, what? yeah, it's super susceptible to wind. The motors can only keep what is essentially a blue and white pancake from catching a breeze and going off to meet Jesus.2: It's nimble! It sounds like I'm doing this review wrong, but hear me out. It is quick and light. That being said, the time it takes from picking up the controller, to picking up the pieces can be staggeringly short. There is a learning curve to consider3: It SUCKS! Battery life isn't quite all it's claimed. Even without a camera the drone just barely crested 11 minutes of flight time. This is fantastic news except for those who wish to use the WIFI camera with the drone. Unless you keep it at a lazy hover, expect varied flight times. Good thing it comes with two batteries!Overall: GET ITWhen factoring in the price, and what you can do with it, the drone is just a great value. Using toy grade drones for enjoying FPV seems silly until you accidentally go superman into a tree with a $200 Diatone, and leave disheartened when you have neither a working drone, nor cool story to show for your efforts.

This drone is very fun to operate
This drone was very fun to fly, just not on a windy day. I'm amazed how high it goes and how you can hover at any height. Still trying to get the hang of it has a lot of options on it so I'm taking it slow to learn each one. It's built very good and stand up to a lot. I have tried the camera yet still reading up on it before I do, I need to master flying first. This is the first drone I've ever had and it has not disappointed. I'll post more as I learn more using it. I have video but not sure if I can post it on here it not. It's a blast to fly, you won't be disappointed buying this drone for sure. FUN, FUN, FUN!

Buy something else.
The only enjoyable part of this drone was boxing it up to return it. Camera quality is terrible. Stability is non-existent. Trim doesn't work. Wi-Fi FPV was hit or miss on finding network, videos didn't necessarily actually save. Controls somehow randomly went bad so that forward was also down and back was also up (on right stick). Flight time was actually pretty decent, so there is that.
