Helped me so much to achieve the "Look"
Updated a very dark antique wardrobe for my new home, and I am so impressed with the quality and the "beached wood" effect. It's a lot of rubbing on and off (because it's a very large piece of furniture), but the look is wonderful. No longer the old dark depressing lump sitting in my bedroom. Rustic French is what I wanted and this is "Great!". Oh, and it is good for the wood, so it can continue to breathe, instead of being sealed with paint. Love it!

Easy to use, is exactly as described
I wanted a white wash type finish for pine and tried a gel stain and while it worked it obscured the grain more than I liked. This product is easy to use, is applied with a cotton cloth, against the grain, and wiped off also against the grain after 3-5 minutes allowing the grain to show through perfectly. I should have used it in the first place and saved myself time, money and effort, I'll know better next time!

Not quite the desired effect.
I may have had too high of expectations, but it hardly made a noticeable difference on my oak cabinets. Maybe just not suited for my project.

Read update! Not what I hoped for with first attempt, but made it work!
I bought this because I saw pins on Pinterest in which orangy pine from early 90's was toned down or made to look weathered by using this, but to me it just looks cloudy white. Easy to use, but not a fan.**UPDATE** I ended up sanding the piece, bleaching it with a two step bleach, sealing it then using this wax. It was a lot of work, but I ended up with exactly the look I was going for.

Mahogany Table
I have an old mahogany drum table that had a bad paint job. After stripping and sanding, leaving some paint and imperfections, I applied the liming wax. The picture shows one coat of the wax on top, so you can see a comparison of what the mahogany looks like before and after. The wax gives unfinished wood a great satin-like feeling finish.

Excellent
Great product, but ensure ventilation as quite strong. I used it for an oak mantel made by my Dad which had started to “orange”. Used this to lighten it to match my other paler oak furniture. Absolutely delighted with the result. Apply gradually so as not to overwhiten.

Easy and pleased with how little is needed
Having never used a liming wax it was easy to use and adjust. I liked a dark antique Oak footstool with carved details. I applied it too thickly at first but it was easy to polish back and forth adjusting areas that needed more details enhancing. This was nicely subtle but lightened the ' brown' appearance without detracting from the antique effect. I will now do my Oak stair spindle and balustrade which will look more contemporary but keeping the feel of the house and lightening the appearance and reflected light in the hall...dead easy with an old paint brush ,wirewool and an old nylon washing up brush and an old flannel to polish up. I'll use a toothbrush in the corners of the stairs...I'm an art teacher and know this doesn't need fancy chalk brushes !!

Excellent product
I used this to lighten 2 bookcases previously waxed in antique pine. I lightly sanded the wood then brushed on the wax and polished off. The effect is transformational! They are now light ash and the grain is beautiful. I liked the effect so much that I bought another tub and transformed an old chest of drawers. My husband is busy eating his hat!!!
