Works kinda sort of...
Not easy to work with because it doesn't unravel all that well. Don't feel this was the right choice for my intended project. Now I will use it with my label maker & create removeable Equipment ID tags for steel shelving.

I didn’t find this magnet as strong as it claimed to be. It’s more of a dollarstore craft quality.

Perfect for labeling my canning shelves
I cut strips of this magnetic tape for the sections of my metal canning shelves. My marker doesn’t adhere to the white covering on the aggressive side of the tape so I put a bit of cellophane tape over the white covering and use a Sharpie to identify canned foods. Works great for me.(A silver Sharpie works directly on the magnetic material but this tape is sticky on one side. I prefer to be able to move my labels around whenever my inventory changes.)
