Best Cat Toy EVER
This is by far, the best cat toy ever! My cat ignores all other toys for this rat. He played with the first one so much, he pulled it off the string. He drags it all over the house and eventually loses it under a piece of furniture. Then he cries for it. We are constantly having to find this rat. It is so beat up, chewed up and mutilated it does look like a dead rat.Now we can't find it, so he was without for almost a month. Just bought my second one and he is in heaven again. I remove the wire and hang it from the ceiling rather than a doorway. When he gets tired of playing with it, he sleeps right beside it, wakes up and starts playing again, He really wants it off the string, and eventually, he will get it off and lose it just like the first one. Then I will have to buy a third one.... I glad they are cheap. I do rotate toys now, so he only gets the rat 2X a week. I call it a rat, because, well, it does look like a baby rat.

Kitten LOVED this!
Our new kitten was VERY active and always running and playing. She really likes chasing things across the floor, so I wasn't sure if she'd go for this. I hung it from a beam in the middle of the room. I made the mouse high enough that she really had to jump for it.After I got it hung up, I gave it an easy push. She jumped for it and missed entirely. After a couple more tries, she was able to connect maybe 1 out of 3 jumps. She would play with this for more than an hour straight. When she was done, she'd just lay on the floor, completely wore out. Within a week she was getting claws on it 3 out of 4 jumps. This toy really honed her ability to grab moving objects. We had a bat get into the house, but we couldn't find it. During the night she had grabbed it out of the air and left it on the floor for us. It's not easy to grab a bat out of the air.Yes, she eventually broke the elastic and ran off with the mouse. When we found the mouse, I just tied it back on. I think she broke it 4 or 5 times before it wasn't worth putting back on.TIP: Remove the eyes before giving it to your cat. Yes, it looks super creepy with no eyes, but the cat doesn't care and the eyes can pop out and get swallowed. They are hard plastic with a point on one end, so you don't want your cat chewing on one.

my cats' favorite toy, but string breaks easily
My cats and I love this! I really appreciate how much it keeps them entertained independently—it is their favorite toy. It's super easy to hang up and doesn't really get in the way of the door if placed to the side. The string did break within a couple of weeks—it's a decent quality but they do play with it a lot. It's not a big deal though and easy to tie other toys to it. I still think it's worth it and will probably buy another one soon!

BEST CAT TOY, EVER!
BEST CAT TOY EVER! I adopted a cat from the Humane Society who isn't extremely active but when she wants to play she really wants to play and gets the "zoomies". We absolutely love having this toy because it fits over any door frame doesn't cause any damage and she can play with it on her own or with us, she goes nuts for hearing it smack against the door jamb which also doesn't cause any damage and it's on a bungee cord that you can hold back 10 ft and let go so it projectiles back and forth. She absolutely loves her mouse to the point that we have to put it up at night because she'll keep me up all night playing with it. She's also quite destructive with toys and yet this toy house stood up to the test of time and abuse she's thrown its way. She will grab it and lay on the floor with it chewing on it and it is yet to come apart unlike all the other toys we've gotten or made for her. I absolutely highly recommend this incredibly durable, entertaining (with or without having a person involved), fun (& fun to watch her play with it) interactive cat toy. Best money I've spent on ANY cat toys so far & worth much more than the price I paid!

Very entertaining but not long lasting
My cats loved it and were playing with it immediately… only issue is the string that it is attached to they broke within an hour of playing with it. I have tied the mouse back to it several times only for them to break it again. Seems to keep the stimulated when it is attached to the string and hanging, once it’s been broken off they don’t play with the mouse

very entertained by mouse on elastic string
Thoroughly entertain my cat when I swing around this mouse on the elastic string. Didn’t work so well hang on a door frame didn’t stay on the door frame. Well nor was my cat interested in it hanging on the door frame. But loves playing with it while you swing around at them great little entertainment for your kitty!

Good toy, supervision recommended
Bought this for my adult cats. I acquired a kitten, the kitten played with it more than the adult cats. But one day I heard the kitten screaming. I discovered him wrapped in the string. Because it stretches it was wrapped around him very tight and strangling him. He’s healthy and safe. Good thing I was home. So I cut the string off and he still play with the mouse to this day. With that said good product and price. Would not leave it up unsupervised.

Disappointed in the quality
The 1st one I received the cord was tore in 4-5 places. They did replace it and on replacement the cord broke off the toy mouse right after my cat reached up and grabbed it. I did super glue the cord to the mouse and it's now 2 days and it's still all together.. Even for the price it really should be made better.. I got a few years ago & it lasted over a year.. so kind of disappointed in the quality of them now.
