Good serum, absorbs well
First off, I like that you get a full ounce of this serum as some don't give you that much. So that makes this a much better value. Second, it has a very light scent that is noticeable but doesn't smell like perfume. The serum itself is typical of other serums in that it is a little thick but not so much that it's difficult to apply. It goes on smoothly but it doesn't drip down your face. The bottle has a nice dropper on it that's easy to use to dispense just what you need. I didn't have any irritation issues with this serum and as long as I give it time to absorb fully, I can layer it with other serums.

Replenishing, light weight, and mild tightening effect directly after use
I ordered the RevitaPearl Age Defying Facial Serum with pearl and microalgae extract, vetiver, and ursolic acid because I was interested in the unique ingredient profile. I was most interested in microalgae and ursolic acid. Microalgae has several skincare benefits such as enhanced cellular turnover and repair. Ursolic acid helps restore elasticity, decrease fine lines or wrinkles, and restore the skin's collagen bundle structures. The Serum feels nice on my skin. It immediately absorbs and is not at all sticky, tacky, or dewy on my skin. It begins to tighten without a dry look. This tightening effect is temporary and a moisturizer is needed after the serum which also removes this effect. I am passionate about skincare and look for products that demonstrate powerful apparent results. This serum is beneficial and is replenishing. Over time, the user will very likely experience improved skin health.

Lovely serum, very effective for my dry & dehydrated skin + made in the USA
This is an excellent serum that seems to be very effective for my excessively dry and dehydrated skin. I was not familiar with this brand, but when I read that it is based in the USA, I was definitely interested in finding out more. I thought the ingredients in this entire line sounded intriguing as well, especially the oil from the Sacha inchi seeds and the vetiver (one of my favorite fragrances, but also contains compounds that are beneficial for the skin). The serum has a lovely fragrance but it is very subtle and doesn't linger at all, so it probably won't be bothersome to those that prefer unscented products. The serum is milky white and slightly viscous. It feels light-weight and goes on easily. It absorbs into my skin quickly. My skin is sensitive and this causes no irritation at all. It doesn't leave a sticky feeling or oily residue. It is moderately moisturizing, so it helps with dehydration and the rough feeling I often experience, but it also seems to target the loss of lipids underlying the causes of dryness in my skin. My skin is softer and feels smoother and many of the lines on my forehead and at the corners of my eyes and mouth are minimized.I appreciate that the full ingredient list was provided in the product description.I'm happy with how well this serum works and it is even more effective when I use it in combination with several other products from this line (the toner and facial oil). The current price of $39.00 (down from the regular price of $49.00) does represent a bit of a splurge for me. I doubt if I would ever pay the regular price, but I do like the product enough that I would be very likely to re-purchase it at the reduced price. The serum is beautifully presented in a heavy, frosted glass bottle. It has a fancy dropper delivery system (depress the rounded plunger on the top of the cap to fill the bent-tip glass dropper. It arrived boxed and properly sealed.

Tones & Hydrates Middle-Aged Dry Skin
I really like this cell renewing formula. It does an excellent job restoring hydration to my very dry skin. I use it before applying an oil-based moisturizer—both blend well with make-up. The end result is a more toned, smooth looking face that stays that way all day long. I like this serum better than the one I was previously using—the ingredients in this are more natural, and the liquid is soothing on my face. It works very well on middle-aged, dry skin like mine. The only drawback is the delivery system—the eyedropper that dispenses serum is almost four inches long. It’s a bit unwieldy during use; a shorter dropper/different designed bottle might be easier to use.
