I just needed a product to fill a 1/8 inch hole on the arm of a nice leather office chair.I did not buy it to do a large area.I used the filler. Let it dry. Used it again and dry. The put a small amount of the color on the "patch". It came out ok.....I am not the best at this type of work. The hole was filled somewhat. A lot of the filler drained through the padding below the leather. Guess that was to be expected.Result: Hole now has a partial fill and the color match was good straight out of the bottle. At least it will not tear further and looks ok from a distance. Going into this I did not expect a perfect, smooth finish, but I pretty much filled the hole and the color match (the darkest) was spot on. I have no idea of how it would work on a large area; but in the end it solved my issue.

To be honest, I got this product a week before I tried it because I was just really scared of messing it up. But I should have tried it immediately -- I would have had a brand-new look to my couch that much sooner! I'm an experienced wood-worker (35 years) and I looked at lots of options before deciding to give Blend-It-On a try. The deciding factor was the video I watched on YouTube that made this process look as easy as it truly is. The owner contacted me to let me know when my product had shipped and to offer any guidance I might need. He was attentive to all my questions and needs immediately. That gave me the confidence to give it a try, and I couldn't be more pleased. To make sure I got the color right, I took a cushion off the couch and had it next to me in the kitchen so I could match the color exactly. The color that you see in the mixing pan is the color you will get on your leather, even though it goes on a little lighter at first. Another thing I'm so impressed with is the sheen the new color has after it has dried -- it matches the leather perfectly! When my husband came in from work, I asked how he liked the touch-up work I'd done, and he examined it for several minutes before asking where I'd done the repairs! I think that says it all.

Refurbished a 15-year-old, $1,500 leather chair and ottoman and looks almost new again. Was able to mix the dark brown and black to get the perfect match. Great product with easy prep and easy clean up!

I wish I had taken a before picture of my love seat. The brown leather had faded along every seam and all the trim. One huge section of the armrest was completely devoid of color (was almost an orange color) as I had recently used a leather cleaner that destroyed the coloring. There were splotchy patches over both cushions where the leather had faded. The love seat looked much older than its ten years and needed to be replaced. I bought this product as a last ditch effort after watching the tutorial video and seeing how well it worked. I was really nervous to try it, but it turned out to be so easy. It took less than an hour to clean the leather, allow it dry, mix the colors/test it, and apply it. I am absolutely amazed at the results! I texted my husband immediately and told him we no longer have to replace the love seat. It looks almost new. Unbelievable! I would highly recommend this product to anyone.

I am undecided whether I should give the product a positive or negative review. My dad's brown leather chair had some claw marks from the cat. I unfortunately tried to apply this in a large amount because there were a lot of claw holes, as opposed to filling in each hole individually. It doesn't have the same grain pattern as real leather, and the color was very hard to match. The texture was also unfavorably firm and sticky. It is however durable, as I tried about everything to remove it (sanding, denaturing the adhesive) and could not get the completely dried parts off. If you have PU leather furniture, this may work better for you as the material is essentially the same. It might have worked better if I tried applying in small amounts only, but it's hard to say. The price is maybe a little high for what you get.

It worked great for a couple of years but eventually wore off. I was very pleased with the original repair. We're still not ready to purchase new furniture so I'm giving it another shot hoping it will last for a year or two.

Great pack of cover up colors for my pleather couch. After only 2 years, a spot wore away where my head rubs on the couch showing the white fabric underneath. The kit has 3 brown tones and a white and black to adjust the color lighter or darker. I tested 2 colors with the included qtip and chose the mahogany. The kit has a round sponge applicator which make application a breeze. I applied 2 coats with fantastic results. The sponge easily rinses with tap water. See before and after pictures. Its actually was much bigger as it expanded after I took the "before" picture. I'd say about 6" x 12".

Useless product that makes things even worse.
