Better Than Expected
This lens turned out to be better than I anticipated.I originally just wanted a lens that could zoom farther. I'm new to photography, so I only had the basic lens that came with my camera (Canon Rebel T5i). However, this lens exceeded my expectations. I was extremely happy with my purchase. As you can see in the photos, there is a huge difference in the quality. The first one was taken with my original lens (18-55 mm) when it was all the way zoomed in, while the second and third were taken with this lens. Huge difference! The colors are brighter, it focuses better, and the larger aperture makes a noticeable difference. As I said before, I'm new to photography so I wasn't really expecting much out of this lens. However, I think the average user would be very pleased with this, and for someone new to photography it would be a great investment to help them get started and gain confidence.-----Photo 1: ISO 100, 55 mm, f/7.1, 1/100Photo 2: ISO 200, 300 mm, f/7.1, 1/500Photo 3: ISO 250, 130 mm, f/5.6 1/200

A good value, and a great lens.
Wish it had stabilizer and zoomed in a smidge more, but I'm also glad it was so affordable. There's a bit a tradeoff, but it's worth the money in my humble opinion.Definitely get a tripod and remote though if you don't already have them. Both are basically requisite for this lens. I've attached a few samples to this review - all three were shot with tripod and remote.
