Why did you pick this product vs others?:I picked this product because it is soft and comfortable without being too thick. It is easy to put on my child's bed as the sides are very stretchy. I have had someattress protectors in the past that make a crinkling noise and this one doesn't seem to do that.Durability:It has done well through multiple washes and has withstood various toddler shenanigans very well. I have had this for about a month so far and there are no signs of holes, tears in the seems, or other deterioration. Quality:There have been while using this mattress protector and it has functioned perfectly! No leaks at all. The material is very durable and it has stayed soft and comfortable after multiple washes. The mattress protector surface kind of has a soft towel like feel to it.Comfort:The material of the mattress protector is very soft. It also has a little bit of a cushion but isn't anything too thick or fluffy. Perfect for my toddlers bed.

My 3 year old sleeps in bed with me and though she has been potty trained for over a year, she had her first accident during the night recently, so I decided to get this for bed as additional precautions. It’s very soft and doesn’t crinkle because it’s fabric, not plastic. I don’t know how absorbent it is because she hasn’t had another accident.

Arrived quickly, priced well and packaged well. We purchased the king size. It's a bit loose on our bed and does seem to slip off the corners easily, the only reason for 4 stars. Waterproofing protection appears and feels good. Overall happy with the purchase minus the slip factor.

These mattress protectors are awesome! We had an adult guest with medical issues wet the bed & nothing at all went through to the mattress. I have Utopia waterproof mattress protectors on every bed in our house. We recently bought a new mattress so I went onto Amazon & bought a new Utopia waterproof mattress protector for when it arrives.

The top is in fact waterproof. I dumped a whole glass of water on it, and let it soak for several hours above a paper towel. The paper towel stayed completely dry. The sides, on the other hand, are not terry cloth nor do they have a backing. I doubt they are waterproof, but that was not important to me so I did not test them.

The price was right for this cover, and I like that there is no crinkly sound. No plastic smell out of the package. I haven't tested for waterproof quality, hope I never have to!
