These pens are wonderful!
I have had these for just over a month and they have become my favorite pens. I was concerned about the tips becoming deformed as other people stated that the small nibs do not stand up with use, I have had no such problem. I don't write very hard, I don't bear down on a pen or pencil. Overall these are my favorite pens, awesome for keeping my planner color coded to the nines. Yes some of the lighter colors are a bit faint, I use those as accent colors drawing boarders around blocks of text and generally accenting the stronger colors. This is okay with me, it's the reason I bought this set instead of a smaller set that just had the brighter or darker colors. While the color is too light to write legibly in, it is easy to see the boarder (boxes in my planner are 2.34cm), so a boarder one row thick is not quite like a broad tip sharpie. Before I got these I was using highlighters for this purpose and it was awful, they were to bright. I have also used the faint colors to make custom dividers for a binder, coloring in the cardstock tabs before applying the labels really makes them stand out without looking like I am entering preschool this year. I made a color key in my day planner, the paper color is an creamy ivory, it's almost like cream of parchment, for color comparison. I also did one of the bic multi-pen, since they are a pretty standard bright ballpoint pen color palette you can have a set of familiar colors to compare to.

Love these pens!
I remember my mom buying me a burgundy Le Pen when I was a teenager. I loved how smooth and neat my writing looked. For some reason, Le Pen came back to me as I was looking for a pen to take notes at church with in a small notebook I carry with me. I found this set here on Amazon, and ordered the 18 pen set. Just like I remember - these pens are awesome. I love the colors, the way they write, and everything about them. I know it's crazy to get excited over pens, but this pack really just makes me smile. The only thing that I was surprised about was the way they came. I expected them to be packaged better. They came in a small clear plastic baggie, in a brown envelope. It was fine - but I just expected a more professional package. Either way, it didn't hurt the way the pen works, so overall, I am still in love with my 18 Le Pens.

Love at first write <3
I LOVE these pens! Besides coming in beautiful colors these pens write beautifully (smoothly) and unlike similar sharpie pens do not bleed through thin paper! I definitely prefer this type of marker-pen over a ball point pen, so I may be biased in my opinion. The colors are all beautifully saturated and this set comes with a good number of colors that super usable; for example at work I don't think it is professional to write in Lavender, Periwinkle, Teal, ect, but the set has grey, oriental blue (almost a navy), a mid-tone blue, black, brown, and a dark red (although I'm guessing that would only be useful for grading things). They're great for color coding too! I'm a graduate student and write my assignments in my planner in different colors based on the class they're for, and then use a different color to indicate days I work, another color for social commitments, ect. I have had them for two semesters now, so almost a year, and though a few (only 3/18!) of them aren't usable anymore I'm sure it's just because I use them SO MUCH. The only colors that don't work anymore are oriental blue, black, and grey (my most frequently used colors, by FAR) kind of still work but I think I bent the tips a little and they're running out of ink. I cannot tell you how much I write for school. I have binders and binders and binders full of notes written with these pens, so unless you write as much as I do I'm sure these pens will last you much longer. My husband made fun of me for spending this much money on pens (he's super frugal), but since I started grad school these are ALL I USE, and he's pretty darn impressed with the use I've gotten out of them. I find these pens are also very comfortable to hold even when used for long periods of time. I'm am back on Amazon to purchase more right now, though I'll probably just be buying black because all my pretty colors are still working beautifully. Happy Writing!

Great pens, love the color selection
I use these pens for drawing and for mind-mapping/sketch style note taking. For drawing I find the paler colors especially valuable, and the range of contrast in the brights is great for notes or cartoony sketches. Unlike some other reviewers I like that the set just comes in a baggie - I want the pens, not packaging! If I was to give these as a gift I'd probably try to find a nice box that the recipient could use over and over again.I get my best results from these pens using a light touch and a vertical pen posture, like with technical pens. Holding the pen at a standard writing angle or pushing hard can damage the tip or give a less clear line.My only complaint: Why no yellow??? I'd give up the black, since there are plenty of great black pens out there, in place of a nice sunny or mustard yellow.

Buy these and enjoy
This is a very nice fine tip pen. They are not gel but that's fine! I had a little issue with them bleeding on one adult coloring book. However the paper was not top quality so I can not blame the pen. They are skinny and light weight fit well in my purse with a mini coloring book. I will admit I'm stingy and will not let anyone else use these! I don't want anyone to forget to return my pens. They can order their own. A must for the pen collector or someone addicted to adult coloring books. Not great for a huge section to color but awesome for detail and fine work.

My favorite pens for writing
Great pens. These are my favprite pens to write with. The colors are consistent and sharp. These pens do not bleed through paper regardless of how thin it is. One of the colors ran out of ink fairly quickly, which i was disappointed by, but i would still repurchase this brand.
