Weaver Leather Arborist 2 Piece Pulaski Axe Guard , Tan

Great multi tool when used properly. Grub end for roots and rocks, axe end for chopping through logs and lopping off limbs on downed trees. I have use version of this tool for 45 years. Used for cleaning trail, digging water bars, or digging up stumps. Have cut through 12" logs when they fall across trails.

I bought a 3-1/2 pound head pulaski axe and tried this cover. It was on the smallest setting and just falls off. It still had several inches of slack. It seemed very well made, but bear in mind it must be designed for pulaski axes with pretty big heads.

This item fit my pulaski tool perfectly. It is constructed of thick leather and stiched with heavy guage thread. Critical points along the stiched edges are riveted for durability. One critical rivet near the beginning of a stitching line was completely missing. I debated sending this back for an exchange, but decided to keep the sheath rather than deal with the delay of replacement. If necessary, I will just add a rivet. Otherwise, build quality and fit appears excellent.

I like that it is adjustable but I wish it had a snap to take it on and off after you get it sized for your tool

Got this out of concern for hiking to locations and storage. Leather hasn't deterred in quality since.

This is a quality product that I purchased for a restoration project. I stained the leather so dont expect the color in this picture.

Very good quality leather sheath for pulaski. Gave it a good coat of leather conditioner before I put into use as it is bare untreated leather and can stain easily.

For the price I probably couldn’t even buy the leather to make this. Well worth the cost to protect my Pulaski axe edge during transportation. Super value.
