FPS Freek Specter - PS4

They're easy to pop off if you get carried away in some games. For instance, I get pretty crazy on the thumb sticks when playing NHL games and they frequently shoot off when I try to shoot the puck in the game. There are other instances where I've played online shooters and push both sticks really fast and they pop off. I also don't feel like they add much to precision or make you any better in a game. With that being said, they seem like a fairly well built product and are likely to last for a good amount of time if you aren't too aggressive on the the thumb sticks. I probably wouldn't recommend them unless your original thumb sticks are starting to peel (like mine) or are just really eager to try them out for yourself.

I was a bit skeptical at first having used playstation controllers all my life. I must admit that throughout the years I wished that PS thumbticks were a tad higher, because they were good, but I'd find myself experiencing limited range of motion as the sticks would always seem to hit the rim too soon, making the standard travel always feel too short, and by extension, feel like there was little granularity.I mean the granularity was always there, but it was harder to isolate and really control, plus my thumbs would slip from time to time because of the shape of the stick. Now, with these, it feels so natural.It feels a lot better after my initial adjustment period (which is expected when something as integral as thumbstick-height changes) and now it feels like I've been using them all my life.Single-player games and driving games feel great, as for FPS games, i'm unable to comment because I game with mouse and keys, as I use them on my PS4 controller which is the gamepad for my PC, however, judging from what I've played before, they will definitely give you more control.

Just what I was looking for. At first I was concerned about how well these would stay on during use and that it would make using the controller uncomfortable to use, but after about 5 minutes of using it, I was already used to the difference. The extra range of motion you get out of the added height on the joysticks let me bump up my look sensitivity by 1 without any setbacks, which in a shooter is extremely helpful.

I had these previously for my x-box 360 controllers. The sticks with pattern on them like these don't seem to release from the molds as cleanly so they may look used or scratched up. After using them for about a week or so that wears down and they look really sharp. With these on the controller I can crank the sensitivity WAY up, but because the actuation point is elevated get more granular control on the entire range of movement.

I have been using the kontrolfreeks for weeks, and im happy with them. I don't understand how other reviews were saying the kept falling off, I mean even if you press hard sideways on them they won't come off at all. To put them on you have to press down hard on them for them to click on the thumb sticks. I would recomend these anytime.

Your really feel the difference when use. When playing COD you accuracy is better don't know why... When playing GTA it feels weird at the beginning when you're doing races or playing Drive Club. However, they are amazing I'm glad I bought them.

I bought these after a buddy whom I play with on COD recommended them I was skeptical at first once I got them man did they help, if you want more accuracy for FPS look no further. Get them period.

Very good and easy to use the rubber grips help so much to keep a good grip with ease and the slightly wider tops where your thumb would control makes it alot easier

they get muddy over time and my finger movement makes them slip, short term they are very good but don't expect a pair to last more than 2-3 months if you are a professional gamer

Good service, does exactly what it says on the tin, I feel it has given me more precise control on FPS games like Destint, COD, use my other controller for Driveclub as they become detached with the movements in Driving games and gives too sensitive control. And they look cool with the skull moulded into the top

Took and absolute age to arrive. Ordered as a stocking filler on 11th Dec and didnt make Christmas or New Year. Still my son is happy they eventually arrived and uses it religously.
